In every organized system, there are rules guiding the activities therein. Those who flaws the set standards are discipline. We learnt from the government of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon that he had a very high standard. He ensured those who served under him were trained in order to attain his set standard before they were brought to serve in his palace. He set the criteria for selection into his training school; children without blemish, well favoured, skilled in all wisdom, cunning in knowledge, understanding science, able to stand in the king’s palace and whom they might teach the learning and the tongues of the Chaldeans”. 7/30/2023
DO NOT IDOLIZE THE USE OF ANOINTING OIL EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SUNDAY JULY 30,2023 TEXT: LUKE 10: 33-37 33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, 34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. 36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? 37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise. Key verse: 1 John 5: 21 “Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.” Today some ministers anoint business premises to cast out demons and to protect the place from witchcraft. The Jews never anointed their premises in the scripture. So, what is the authority for this anointing oil? To the extent that you have turned the faith of God’s people from Jesus to the anointing bottle. God is very careful not to allow a physical thing to be observed for too long because human beings have a problem of idolizing the physical. Faith is too strong for them; they will prefer that which they see. Thomas said, “Unless I see the marks on the hands and legs and the pierced side, I will not believe.” That is the problem of man. Key verse: John 4:26 “Jesus saith unto her; I that speak unto thee am He.” Question: A man got married but after two years the lady left him and got married to somebody else. The man also got married to somebody else. After four years he separated from the second lady. Afterwards, he came in contact with holiness and began his restitution. He went to look for the first wife and discovered that she died four years back. Later, the brother got married again in holiness to somebody else. Should he have married the second woman who is an unbeliever? Testimony of Mama Nana Gaius translated from Hausa: My name is Sister Nana Gaius from Plateau state chapter. I have been suffering from a lump in the breast but as Pastor Paul Rika prayed for participants during the December conference, 2022, my faith increased and God removed the lump though I did not notice it immediately. I returned home after the conference and as I was taking my bath, a voice told me to check for the lump whether it was still there or not. I quickly checked and discovered that the Lord has removed it. I began to glorify God. Secondly, the divine assignments have helped me a lot. Through doing the HOREMOW assignments, my faith in God has been lifted, and my prayer life has been transformed. God has made me a prayer warrior in my old age. OBSERVE MODERATION IN FASTING EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) WEDNESDAY JULY 26,2023 TEXT: ACTS 27:33-36 33 And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing. 34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you. 35 And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat. 36 Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat. Key verse: Acts 27: 34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you. Be careful with fasting. Control your fasting. Let your moderation be known to all men. That is the word of God. Do not engage in careless fasting. Do not be so power- driven to the point of destroying your body. There are formulas to everything in life. Whatever a man sows, he shall reap. Subject that body to an unfavourable condition and you shall reap. A particular pastor said, he had finished all his fasting! I asked him how he has finished his fasting. He explained that he went on marathon fast as a young preacher until stomach ulcer caught him, and so for that he has finished all his fasting! Have demons also finished their work? Why did you finish your fasting so early? Have problems of life finished? Let your moderation be known to all men. Key verse: 2 Timothy 2: 6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. You need good health and prosperity. You should be healthy in the body. If you are not healthy, how will you carry out the work of God? Again, he said, I pray God, your spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of the Lord. See how he wished you continue in wellbeing to the end, until the Lord comes for you, either at death or in the rapture. He wishes that you carry your ministry to the end. You need preservation and this preservation is for your body, spirit and soul. God desires that those who minister to others in the gospel should also minister to themselves, so that they may be first partakers in the benefits of the gospel. HEADSHIP IN THE FAMILY EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) MONDAY JULY 24, 2023 TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 11: 3-5 3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. 5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. Key verse: 1 Corinthians 11: 3 But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. By headship, I mean the one leading and overseeing the home, the pastor over the house, and the Commander-in-chief. This is the man or husband. God gave him headship by creation, in Christian marriage and the home. The key verse mentions three heads: God as head over Christ, Christ as head over the man, and the man as head over the woman. The Father is the head of the Trinity; the Father, the Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Though they are one and equal, we see here in the redemption design that the Father is the head of Christ. When Jesus came to the world, He clearly showed that the Father was His head. The Father was the One that sent Him. He showed it very clearly. The leader of the Godhead, though one person, is the Father.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SUNDAY JULY 23, 2023 TEXT: JUDGES 7: 1-4 1 Then Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, and all the people that were with him, rose up early, and pitched beside the well of Harod: so that the host of the Midianites were on the north side of them, by the hill of Moreh, in the valley. 2 And the Lord said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me. 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. 4 And the Lord said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go. Key verse: Judges 7: 2 “And the Lord said unto Gideon. The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands: lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me. God’s people turned to the religious practices learned from the Canaanites. As a result, for seven years God allowed the Midianites, the Amalekites and other tribes from the east, to invade and oppress Israel. They were forced to hide in caves and hide their crops and animals. Only when the situation became unbearable did Israel turn to God for help. God sent Gideon to lead the battle against their enemies. Fear is a torment to those that have no faith in God; imagine sending people numbering thirty two thousand, out for battle but when announcement was made that, “Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead and there returned of the people twenty and two thousand, and there remained ten thousand” and thereafter reduced to three hundred. This is the state of Christians today – fear. On a Sunday you could run up to two or more services, but call for crusade or evangelism, you will only see a scanty number. 7/22/2023

Key verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. In today’s bible text, Peter is telling the children of God that by virtue of your knowing God and knowing Jesus, you have entitlements. You have blessings; you have provisions that God has made available for you. There are benefits that accrue to you because you know God, because you know Jesus and these blessings are the blessings of grace and peace. Grace refers to unmerited things which by your power and knowledge you could not have gotten. You could not have acquired them, yet they would come from God freely. What comes by grace is a free gift. They are gifts to you because you know Jesus. They are the provisions for your joy, provisions for your peace, provisions for your satisfaction, provisions of prosperity in your life, because you know God, because you know Jesus Christ. His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life; everything you need or desire in this world as you live and walk in this life. Every desire of your heart and every good thing you wish for yourself are inside the package that God has provided for you.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) FRIDAY JULY 21, 2023 TEXT: HEBREWS 2: 1-4 1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. 2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; 3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; 4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? Key verse: Hebrews 2: 4 “God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders and with diverse miracles and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to His own will.” Jesus turned water into wine. It was an unusual manifestation of the Holy Ghost that happens once in a generation according to the mind of God. If you have a wedding and you need drinks, pray and plan in advance. Even if there is lack of drinks, pray for God to supply. Don’t ask people to fetch water and fill water pots to turn them to wine as Jesus did. The seven sons of Sceva did that and demons handled them very well. So, don’t do such things. Again, how do these signs follow those that believe? In my name they shall lay hands upon the sick and the sick shall recover; the normal way. Pray for the sick, lay hands and call upon God in the name of Jesus. And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. 9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, 10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. 11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him. Key verse: John 2: 5 “His mother saith to the servants, Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it.” Put your faith in God not in aprons and handkerchiefs. There are unique miracles of God that He does not continue with and you don’t ask Him to repeat them because He chooses to do them by Himself. He chooses to release those miracles and they may happen once in a generation. He revealed His will in them. He caused the red sea to dry up. Will you keep asking the red sea to dry up? No. God has not promised to dry rivers for you, such that when you want to cross the river you ask God to dry it for you. It is unique; it was done by Moses, then Joshua, by Elijah and by Elisha. That ended the issue of the sea drying up. So, don’t seek to repeat it; instead of looking for a way to cross the river, you then say that God should dry it up. Key verse: Psalm 90:9 For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told. The Lord gave Sister Linda a dream on the 28 th of June 2014. We shall study and meditate on this revelation as a series: In this dream, Pastor Paul Rika, Brother Michael Sambo and I (Sister Linda) were in a house where people were filling forms for visa. Brother Michael Sambo told them that the country was close to heaven. Pastor Paul Rika had already gotten his visa so I wanted to get mine. He said he would come back soon from the trip but I said, “Daddy you will not come soon because Brother Mike said that that country is close to heaven.” He then said, “Okay, fill your own form and collect your visa.” 7/18/2023
MAKE YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER GLAD EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) TUESDAY JULY 18, 2023 TEXT: EPHESIANS 6:1-3 1Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. Key verse: Proverbs 23:25 Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice. Submission and obedience of children and youths to parents and leaders promotes godliness and holiness which are vital requirements of God. May the Lord open the eyes of many children and youths to God's word and commandment to them and compel many to submit and obey their parents. God promises reward to children that obey their parents according to the will of God but condemns obedience that is contrary to the word of God. Your obedience should be in areas that will make God happy with you and not in areas that will make Him sorrowful. Your father should not ask you to go and kill somebody or marry someone else's wife; neither should. your mother asks you to go and steal someone's goods and you heed. 7/17/2023
BEWARE OF STRANGE REVELATION MESSAGES EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) MONDAY JULY 17, 2023 TEXT: ACTS 16: 16-18 16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: 17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. 18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. Key verse: 1 John 4: 2 “Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.” Comment: Sir, I watched a revelation message saying strange things; that women can cut their hair, that soldiers will miss heaven and that Pastor Kumuyi’s wife missed heaven. I need clarification because God is not an author of confusion. Clarification: Some people think that all who have revelations are members of HOREMOW. Most of them are on their own and are not willing to be mentored while some are false. The contrary revelation concerns one Kingsley who was not willing to submit to HOREMOW. When we examined his writings, revelations and his personal Christian life, we saw that they have nothing to do with Jesus. He affected many women especially in eastern Nigeria who began to cut their hair, looking like men which is not scriptural. The Lord will not give a revelation that contradicts His word. He said those in the military and paramilitary will go to hell.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SUNDAY JULY 16, 2023 TEXT: PSALM 89: 19-24 19 Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people. 20 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: 21 With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. 22 The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him. 23 And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him. 24 But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted. Key verse: Psalm 89: 20 I have found David My servant; with My holy oil have I anointed him: In the ministry of Jesus. we do not see Jesus using anointing oil on anybody. When He sent out His disciples, did He give them bottles of anointing oil? No. There was no record. But the disciples when the Bible says in Mark 6:12, I think that they anointed people with oil, which means it was in common possession. They could have gotten this oil from the houses of those people as first aid. “Anointed some people with oil and healed them” What did they heal them with? Is it oil or the Name of Jesus? They healed them with the name of Jesus.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SATURDAY JULY 15, 2023 TEXT: ISAIAH 3: 16-24 16 Moreover the Lord saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: 17 Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will discover their secret parts. 18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon, 19 The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers, 20 The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings, 21 The rings, and nose jewels, 22 The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins, 23 The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails. 24 And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty. Key verse: Jeremiah 4:30, And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life. Question: Sir, please I have three questions; Is it sinful to use powder for babies, children and even adults for rashes? Is weaving or plaiting with thread a sin? Is it right for a woman to be cutting her hair? Answer: To use powder for your children to arrest heat or rashes is not wrong. To use medicated powder while at home is not wrong but don’t paint or decorate your face with powder which is part of the appearance of a harlot. The aim of this painting is to arrive at a smooth, beautiful and attractive appearance. That is wicked and evil. You may say my own is not like that, I sweat a lot. Are you the only person God made in this world that sweats? We also sweat but we don’t use powder? Those who do so desire to achieve something else; artificial beauty. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. Key verse: Revelation 14: 12 Here is the patience of the saints here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Question: Is it only 144,000 people that will go to heaven or will any other person that will go to heaven pass through the tribulation? Answer: The 144,000 refers to the Jews during the tribulation, it is not talking in general terms because people will still be saved during the great tribulation although it shall be very hard. The Bible tells us of the ministry of two witnesses that shall be preaching this gospel; people shall respond to them, but it shall be harder than the simple gospel we have now. Also, angels flying through the sky shall be preaching the everlasting gospel because it shall be so risky for men to preach. Where do you find a preacher when the antichrist is busy ransacking everywhere? People will still have a chance to be saved. So, the 144,000 is restricted only to the Jewish nation. Multitudes all over the world shall still be saved at the time of the great tribulation but it will be a very hard and difficult time. 7/13/2023

Key verse: Malachi 3: 89 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Many people do not understand why God says those who do not pay their tithe and do not give Him offering are robbers. Yes, these are robbers because they deny men, women and children the privilege of hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ, hence, they rob God of His glory among men. More than just being robbers! {i} They are wicked because they do not pity fellow men on their way to destruction. {ii} They are selfish: because they think only on themselves and care not for other people around them. 7/12/2023
TWO TYPES OF MINISTERS IN GOD’S SERVICE EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) WEDNESDAY JULY 12, 2023 TEXT: MATTHEW 7:13-14 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Key Verse: Romans 12: 11 “Not slothful in business, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.” A careful look at the activities of some ministers in our days reveals real wickedness against God; while some ministers love God with the whole of their hearts, some others are enemies of God. They don’t emphasize the message of repentance, righteousness and hell so that the people will escape it. Elijah is an example of a minister jealous for the word of God. He opposed evils in the administration of Ahab and Jezebel who pretended to be a Prophet but for Satan. The Bible says Jezebel caused many children of God to serve Idol, eating and committing fornication with Satan. True ministers are feeling bad as to what is happening in the churches today. |
