 EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) WEDNESDAY JANUARY 31,2024 Text: Hebrews 10: 35-38 35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. 36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. 37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. Key Verse: For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica: 2 Timothy 4:10 Demas! You need to be there when he gave his life to Jesus. You need to be there when he submitted to the leadership of Paul. The zeal he played under Paul showing others that “I have discovered a treasure”. But what happened to Demas after some time? I told you of man. That Jesus knew man. He would not commission man immediately until he has tried and tested him because he knew what was in man. He will say hosanna, blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord. He will turn again and say crucify him. We have no king but Caesar. He knows man. What happened to Demas? What did Paul do to Demas that he did not do to the other people? Go and meet with Demas, he will tell you what he calls the secrets of apostle Paul; things you have never heard. Demas will recount some things for you with a lying tongue and make you believe that it is the truth of God. He will give you clear reasons why he turned away from Paul. But here is the life of Paul exposed to us. Here are other workers under Paul exposed to us for all these generations. What do you observe in the life of Paul that made Demas to leave him? And Moses prayed for the people. 8 And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. 9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. Key Verse: Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. Exodus 17: 6 Bringing water out of the rock: God told Moses to “take your rod and strike the rock with the rod” and water gushed out. That is God! Do not attempt it on your own. Do not listen to those that deceive people by saying, “Moses smote the rock and water came out. We too will do it.” It is a lie; they cannot do it. It is in the hand of God. Leave it with God. He thought it out to glorify His holy name. To make people know that He is God. Key Verse: Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the Lord had said. Exodus 8: 19 Some miracles are the prerogatives of God. They are the choice of God; man is not involved in them. Man should not desire to do them. They are the finger of God. The magicians of Egypt said, “This is the finger of God.” We could do other ones but this one is God's prerogative. We cannot come to that level. It is the work of God. Some signs and wonders which happened in scripture were the direct works of God, done without human interference. They are beyond man. No man may arise to perform or repeat them by his will neither is it required to exercise faith on them. They are the finger of God; you may not attempt to do them. These include: 1/28/2024
Scriptural Water Baptism For Believers EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SUNDAY JANUARY 28,2024 Text: Matthew 28:18-20 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Key Verse: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16: 16 Water baptism for believers is in the name of God the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. This commandment came directly from the mouth of God. The Bible says that man shall live by every word. Will you go to heaven when you do not obey the scriptures? You neglected water baptism because you came from your church where they never taught the truth. If you were baptized as a sinner or by wrong method, now that you have come to Christ and known the Bible as a preacher, obey the word of God. Is your preaching position higher than that of Christ? You are not higher than this word. Submit to the proper baptism to conform to the truth.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SATURDAY JANUARY 27,2024 Text: John 3: 16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Key Verse: For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:17 Jesus came to give condemned man eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth on him should not perish but have eternal life. So, if you believe in Jesus, you shall have eternal life. The gospel message is repentance and forgiveness of sins through Jesus. Many people have left the gospel and are doing other things. Repentance is required before there can be forgiveness of sins. Repent and renounce your sinful life. Be determined not to commit sin. Show God that you do not want to commit sin and that you hate sin. Even if sin overpowers you, kick against it. Be purposed not to disobey God or to get defiled. That is repentance. If it is something you can stop by your power, stop it. Then come to God and plead with Him that you are sorry for your sin and that you will not do it again. Ask Him to help you out of it and deliver you from the power of sin. 1/26/2024
Diverse Ways God Speaks (2) EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) FRIDAY JANUARY 26, 2024 Text: 2 Peter 1:16-19 16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. 19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Key Verse: For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. 2 Peter I: 21 B y Prophe c i e s: Through the prophetic word of God spoken by prophecy. They spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost not of their own words? Is the Holy Ghost words the word of God? Then the word of God is still among us. Apart from the written one there is the prophetic one which is also still in the church, which must be received and used by the church. The prophetic word is the word of God. By the Voice of God: This could be audible. Many have heard God's voice speaking audibly and are very sure it was God speaking. Do we say that they heard the voice of Satan? Is it only Satan that can speak? Did Satan not learn from God? The voice of God still speaks and when you hear the voice, it is the word of God. Up to today the voice of the Lord is still heard. And as we hear it and know surely this is God, we should obey it, carry it out. But you say but it is not written down. The word takes various forms and manner. It comes in various wrappings. Diverse Ways God Speaks (1) EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) THURSDAY JANUARY 24,2024 Text: 2 Timothy 3:16-17 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Key Verse: Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them. Isaiah 34:16 The term, “All scripture is given by the inspiration of God” refers to the word of God. Now there are people who stay by that which is written. They say that is where I stay my faith, that which is written. You are correct but you are not perfect. You are not complete because the word does not come only in the written. It has other forms that it assumes. It is also the revealed word. Whether it is written or not written it is still the word of God that comes by revelation. This shows that the mind of God in that matter is not known but God in His working makes it to be known. 1/24/2024

I bless the Lord for restoring my missing Bank document. I love the Lord with the whole of my heart and had a strong desire to serve God sincerely without any blame, and at such I was always growing in the grace of God but I was facing challenges from people around me and spiritual attack. I had thought that being a child of God frees you from all attacks, not knowing that being a child of God goes with attacks and persecutions. For this reason, I wanted to be sure that the Lord was with me so that whatever comes my way, I will not be moved so I prayed to God to prove that He is with me. In November 2020, as Covid-19 pandemic was reducing, my boss told me to prepare to be posted to Abuja. I did not have a bank account so I had to open one. I was given few days to do this. I brought the bank document including my BVN and NIN to the house and placed them on the center table. The next day I went to school with those documents so that after school I would go to the bank and complete the final process to start using the account. On getting to the bank, I was surprised to discover that the documents were not with me. I quickly went back to the school but I could not find them. I then rushed to the house but they were not there. Ah! What do I do now? The days that I was given has elapsed. What kind of mischief is this? I burst into tears. Isaiah 57:21 Continuation of revelation to Sister Linda: The Lord Jesus revealed, “People see T.B. Joshua as a good man and say that he has gone to heaven. Which heaven? Is it the one I created or is there another heaven he went to? I have come to announce where I sent him to. He is in hell fire. It is a terrible place. I the Lord killed T. B. Joshua. There is now a big cry going on in the kingdom of Satan. He was a great tool in their hands and planned to raise up prophets and pastors for Satan within ten years to fill the world with fake Christianity of signs and wonders so that there should be no true gospel anywhere in the world.” “T. Isaiah 48:22 Sister Linda received a revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ concerning T. B. Joshua after his death. She saw some of his disciples like Alpha Luka, Bushiri, Joshua Talena, Philip Panda, Jeremiah and others from different countries. They all wore cultic attire. T.B. Joshua told them they should do all to take over the world. He said, “The original God, the Creator refused to bless me in life. Even when I decided to work for Him, He refused to give me power but when I came to the demon god, he richly blessed me and made me who I am now before you. Seek Counsel From Holy Ministers EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SUNDAY JANUARY 21,2024 Text: Malachi 2:4-7 4 And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the Lord of hosts.5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name. 6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. 7 For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts. Key Verse. For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his m o u t h : f o r h e is t h e messenger of the Lord of hosts. Malachi 2: 7 The priest is a man of holiness and righteousness. The Lord gave him as a gift. The Lord put His word in his mouth; and said they shall seek My law at his mouth. If you want to know My will, go to him, I have given that to him as a gift. Forget that he looks ordinary or is not a graduate of theological college but God gave it to him. Seek him and get from him and prosper in Christ. Seek prayers from him where required. If the ministers of Christ can be selfless and seek not their own but follow the pattern of scripture in ministry, there will be victory and revival in this end time. The church will operate as one. There will be break-through. Yea, he that escapes the sword of Hazael, shall Jehu slay, and he that escapes the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay. If we are united, we shall solve our problems by God. There will be victory, success, progress and fruitfulness. Some ministers warn their members not to listen to the man sent by God since they do not want to accept him because of the flesh which is always filled with pride and carnality. Desire to promote self makes some ministers seek independence and say, “I have nothing to do with you.”  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SATURDAY JANUARY 20, 2024 Text: Acts 19:11-22 11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: 12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. 13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. 14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. 15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? 16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 17 And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. 18 And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds. 19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. 20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed. 21 After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome. 22 So he sent into Macedonia two of them that ministered unto him, Timotheus and Erastus; but he himself stayed in Asia for a season. Key Verse: So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed. Acts 19: 20 It was from the body of Paul alone and it was also for a given time, else Epaphras would not have fallen sick since handkerchief and apron would have settled his case. When there is a heavy rainfall, it reaches a peak at a particular period, when the rain becomes heavy, you know that within some time, the tide will fall. It will not continue like that. God did these special miracles through Paul. It was not to be repeated again; not even through the same Paul. It did not transfer to Barnabas or Timothy. It did not happen under the ministry of Jesus. Handkerchiefs and aprons were never taken from Jesus or any other person apart from Paul to heal the sick. It was not meant to be a doctrine. You do not form a doctrine with one thing. However, there are many false preachers that now carry handkerchiefs and aprons. Not just for one day, in case truly the LORD wants to manifest power it should have been just one day but they always carry it everywhere. Why is your church identified with aprons? You have left the scriptures. Demons have taken over. Church members now where aprons to travel, to the market, to their offices and even to sleep in their houses. They have been informed clearly by divine revelation that demons inspired those things. Demons empower those things to take away faith from you because faith is the most important thing in every Christian. To turn away your faith from Jesus to material substances and then you die. 1/19/2024
Holiness Guarantees Entrance Into Heaven EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) FRIDAY JANUARY 19,2024 Text: Psalm 24: 3 - 6 3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. Key Verse: He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lift up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. Psalm 24: 4 The highway of holiness is the way that gives meaning, blessings, assurance, fulfillment, rest and peace to life. Some people live their lives without holiness. They are outside this. They are lions and ravenous wolves. Their lives are terrible. They are dangerous. They are sinners. They reject holiness which means they are not going to heaven. They are not redeemed people because the redeemed shall be there. Redeemed from the earth. Some of them are near the kingdom anyway. Jesus told someone you are not far from the kingdom but you have not really come in. For born again Christians, there is a highway to walk in to enter heaven called the highway of holiness. Some churches do not talk about it. They do not bother. My people perish because they do not know the highway of holiness. Many would have made much progress in life had they known the highway of holiness. God has brought you to HOREMOWto show you this way so that you too can be counted in the number of those that will walk on this way to heaven. A way of blessing. Key Verse: For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law. Proverbs 4:2 Comment: My personal conviction is to follow the instruction God told Adam to replenish and fill the earth. I got married in 1972 and continued to give birth until it stopped after nine children. I have never done any form of family planning. Nurses counsel women to do family planning but they complain when there are no children to immunize. I tell them not to complain since they told women to control birth. Clarification: You got married when knowledge and conviction had not come. In those days, women could trek far distances with fire wood on their heads, often without slippers and with babies on their backs. Their bodies were strong but nowadays they don't trek that far so do not have the tough body you had. Some may die before they give birth to nine children because their bodies cannot stand it. Knowledge is vital to protect life. Does God say there should be no birth control? No. God told Adam to be fruitful but only three sons of Adam were mentioned; Cain, Abel and Seth. God promised to make Abraham a father of many nations but gave him one child through Sarah. God gave Isaac two children. Let the word of God dwell in you richly in all wisdom. If a couple decides to have one child for convenience, they have neither offended God nor broken the law to be fruitful. 1/17/2024

The Jews never anointed their premises in the scripture. So, what is the authority for this anointing oil? To the extent that you have turned the faith of God's people from Jesus to the anointing bottle. God is very careful not to allow a physical thing to be observed for too long because human beings have a problem of idolizing the physical. Faith is too strong for them; they will prefer that which they see. Thomas said, “Unless I see the marks on the hands and legs and the pierced side, I will not believe.” That is the problem of man. When Jesus Christ gave him that opportunity He said, “Thomas, it is because you have seen that you believe, blessed are they who have not seen yet have believed.” For the just shall live by faith; be healed by faith and be anointed for service by faith. The gospel of Christ is called the gospel of faith; believing without seeing but men want you to see and touch before believing. Men turn that which they see and touch into idols. So now, there are people who have exalted anointing oil and they carry it about. Without it their faith has been destroyed. To have faith you must bring oil. The Fulani man exalts injection a lot. If he comes to your hospital for treatment and you give him drugs without injections you are wasting time; his faith will not catch it. So, even if the situation doesn't require injection, put distilled water in the syringe and say, “Turn around” and when he turns and you inject that water inside him, he will say “Ah! Key Verse: But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men. John 2: 24 The Lord is pleading that you should be righteous and holy. The ministers of the Lord and your leaders in Holiness Movement are pleading with you to be righteous and holy. I who has found grace in the sight of God to superintend over you, am pleading that you should be righteous and holy. Your soul also is crying within you to return it to righteousness and holiness. So, in every respect there is a plea on you; pleading, please return to righteousness and holiness. Please come back to righteousness and holiness. Please remain in righteousness and holiness. Man is prone to backsliding and forsaking the Lord. They forget so soon the acts of divine love, mercy and grace they have received from God. Man is not steadfast in the truth he has received. He will always want to turn away after some time. It may not be so of all men but in majority. A study of domestic animals reveal that dogs are not like cows, goats, sheep. If you put food for dogs, they will eat to satisfaction, but it is not like that with cows, goats, and sheep which eat here a little and move a distance; not that the food has finished here but they move to another place to eat there also. That is their nature. Part of this nature is in man. He will not want to stay even when all is there. He will want to move. He will want to try his own. Ephesians 2:8 You were a sinner, s o l d t o drunkenness, immorality, idolatry, walking in darkness, with lies, a cheat. You know yourself but you see yourself now living a life of righteousness and holiness. You see yourself now clean. You see yourself abstaining from all sins and all appearances of evil. People know that you have changed. You have inward assurance of the beauty of the life you now live. Your character is definitely a new thing. You need to always remember that righteousness and holiness are the product of the word of Jesus, the blood of Jesus, the name of Jesus, the spirit of Jesus. Come to that realization that Jesus is what has made the difference in your life. that the reason you are the way you are in the newness of life, in this present life of holiness is because Jesus is in you. Jesus has made you so. Jesus' word has kept you. Jesus' blood has worked on you. Jesus' spirit is in your life. You come to that conscious awareness. Key Verse: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27 Man shall live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God which can come in diverse form. It may not maintain one characteristic or one form. It can come in different wrappings, in different manifestation but is the word of God. And once it is discovered to be the word of God, wherever it is coming from, whichever way it is being manifested, it is for man to live. Yours is to discern, is this the word of God? If you discern it to be the word of God, live by it. Which means obey it, carry out the instruction it is giving you. Submit to the command or commandment it is commanding you. The word of God can assume various nature since we receive it in various forms. As obedient children and followers of God, we can discern the word whatever form it takes. When you are used to a man you can still pick him and know that he is the one whatever type of dress he puts on; it could be traditional, formal or casual. Even if he puts on military uniform, you can still pick him because you know him, you are used to him and you understand him. Key Verse: Faithful is he that calleth you who also will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24 Timothy was under the true and holy ministry of Paul who by the gospel had begotten Timothy, hence Timothy himself was a true and holy minister after the kind of Paul. What do we see in the life of such a person? His life should be an example of believers and a challenge to sinners; in word, in the manner of life, in charity, in love, in generosity, in kindness. When you see him, you will know that this is a true and holy man, in spirit, in the way he comports himself, controls his spirit and controls his life generally. You will see that such a person is an example. Esther had a great matter to attend to; one that concerned the death of all the Jews, including herself, planned by Haman, but she controlled her emotions, words, actions and spirit. Even when Esther received favor from the king, she controlled herself and delayed her petition till the right time. The king said, “Esther, what do you want? I am ready to grant your request, up to half of my kingdom.” Was that not enough opportunity for Esther to say, “It is Haman! He wants to wipe out the Jews?” Esther knew that was not the way God wanted her to do it, so she controlled her spirit and said, “O king! If I have found favor in your sight, can you come to my banquet with Haman?” Very simple, they came to the banquet, and she fed them. Key Verse: P r a is e t h e L O R D , O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion. Psalm 147:12 I gave myself to prayers and diligent studies. I even gave a seed offering to boost my faith. My parents, friends and unit members were all praying for me. One day, a neighbor said, “My dear, don't worry, you are going to celebrate very soon.” It was strange to me since he was not a Christian and only knew that I go to church. I asked him, “Celebrate what?” He replied, “Don't worry, you shall celebrate very soon for what you are waiting upon God for. It seems you also have the spirit of anger. Do away with it. Everything will be okay.” I thanked him and we parted. I told my mother about the incident and we continued praying and trusting God because I actually had doubts at that time whether it would come to pass or not. When the exams began, the students and invigilators were deep into exam malpractices; they share out the answers along with the question papers for them to copy. I determined as before never to cheat. God used my uncle, who was a teacher there to always bring the question paper to me immediately the exam starts so that I would have time to write before they collect the papers. On the day of mathematics, I was given the objective paper but I had not even solved half of the questions when the invigilator came to collect my papers because he wanted to leave. I pleaded but he became angry and asked my uncle to give me the answer sheet to copy from. |
