EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) TUESDAY JANUARY 31, 2023 TEXT: HEBREWS 12:5-13 Key Verse: Proverbs 22:15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him. The church became corrupt today because the ministers failed to enforce discipline on erring members. The leaders followed American and European rule that forbids beating of erring children. They adopted that wicked principle into the church and spoilt their congregation. Their members dressed shabbily and nobody talks. Pastors allowed their members to appear any how they wanted to the church to serve God. They play drum, sing in the choir in their sins without rebuke from the leadership. They spared the rod and spoiled their congregation. If a leader cannot discipline the members of his congregation, it means he hate God and His people. You that spared them will not go to heaven. You do not want them to have a good future with God. EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) MONDAY JANUARY 30, 2023 TEXT: ACTS 9:39-42 39Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.”40But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.”41And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.”42And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.” Key Verse: Acts 9:42 And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.” (Continued from yesterday) Suddenly, a mighty voice called him thrice, asking if he knew where he was going? He answered that he was on his way to hell fire and began to plead for mercy. The Lord showed him mercy; He commanded him to go back, confess his sins, do his restitution and give a warning message to his people. The Lord promised to send an angel to bring him to heaven afterwards. He said all his sins were loaded upon his chest as he carried them on the broad way to hell. He made several confessions: stealing handsets, selling a stolen tipper-load of sand and cheating his fellows while sharing the money. He also confessed of defiling a child, etc…He begged for forgiveness and asked his brother, the pastor to help him go round and do restitution on his behalf. The brother diligently went to those places and as he confessed to them, they all said, “Yes, it is true but now we forgive him.” Nurses, patients and others wept openly, confessing their sins and repenting to the glory of God. Meanwhile his brother returned and reported that he was not able to see some of the people. SUNDAY JANUARY 29,2023 TEXT: GENESIS 45:25-28 25And they went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan unto Jacob their father,”26And told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt. And Jacob's heart fainted, for he believed them not.”27And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said unto them: and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived:”28 And Israel said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die.” Key Verse: Genesis 45:28 “And Israel said, it is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die.” A youth died and came back to life with messages from Jesus Christ before he finally died in a community hospital in Benue State in August, 2015. He stayed with his elder brother who was a pastor in deeper life but was living in sin. He was later sent to western Nigeria to work in cocoa farms and had a fatal accident there. He was riding a motorcycle along a bush path at top speed and suddenly met cows crossing the road. He swerved off the road, hit a tree and his legs got stuck into it with broken bones. He hung there for 3 days until they found him hanging there in critical condition. They rushed him back to his brother in Benue but as the brother went out to seek for help, the people ran away. He was carried to the hospital but he died despite frantic efforts of doctors and nurses. They covered him with a sheet and sent for his brother to remove his corpse for burial. 1/28/2023
SEE GOD IN HIS MERCY AND JUDGMENTEVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SATURDAY JANUARY 28, 2023 TEXT: 2 SAMUEL 12: 11-14 11Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.”12For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.”13And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.”14Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.” Key Verse: Psalm 101:1 I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto Thee, O Lord, will I sing. This was the commitment and resolution of King David, the righteous leader of God's people. Though it was the resolution of David the godly king, it is still the standard that Jesus the Bishop of our souls has as the One leading the flocks Himself. This is the standard every true and righteous leader must have. The Psalmist praised God both for His mercy and judgment as seen in our key verse. We must see God both in His mercy and judgment, goodness and severity; kindness and punishment; in salvation and condemnation, in quickening people back to life and in destroying people forever. You need to see God in these two perspectives; mercy and judgment. We speak often of His grace, kindness, love and forgiveness. Certainly, God will show you kindness, God will forgive your sins but see God also as a judge. Will He that judged Satan and the angels that followed him spare you? How many sins did Satan commit in heaven that warranted this everlasting curse on him? Remember that Satan was an archangel and covering cherub. Remember his beauty and the service he rendered to God. Have you done one percent of all the works Satan did when he was Lucifer in heaven? Isaiah 14:12-15. God's Judgment went forth against Satan and he removed him from heaven. He was cast down to the earth, to the sides of the pit and have his dwelling in hell fire. 1/27/2023
STRIVE TO OBTAIN AN INCORRUPTIBLE CROWNEVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) FRIDAY JANUARY 27, 2023 TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 9: 24-27 24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 25And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.”26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:” 27But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.” Key Verse I Corinthians 9: 27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. The Christian life is also likened to a race that the athlete engages himself in so that he may win a prize. As a result, he is disciplined in all things that he may win. We know that not everyone that is involved in the race gets the prize. Only the first to the third persons get the prizes while others miss it and go empty. This is what made the athlete to be temperate in all things. He ensures his body shape and weight is fit enough to perform. His trainers also give him training, because he wants to win. Paul says I know so well that not everybody that comes into or is called into Christianity or Christian ministry will eventually make it to heaven. Since I know this, I disciplined and worked on myself to ensure I am not dropped or disqualified. Note that Satan was the chiefest of the angels; a covering cherub and leading musician that led praise-worship in heaven. He blessed heaven by his ministry, yet he was cast away because he did not discipline himself; he went into sin and God did not spare him. Who has done greater work for God than Satan except Jesus who fulfilled the will of God in its totality? If God spared 1/26/2023
DEPEND ON THE FAITHFUL FOR MINISTRY WORKEVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) THURSDAY JANUARY 26, 2023 TEXT: GENESIS 39:1-6 1. And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmaelites, which had brought him down thither. 2. And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. 3. And his master saw that the Lord was with him, and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand. 4. And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. 5.And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the Lord blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. 6. And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured. Key Verse Psalm 101:6 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land… The faithful are the righteous and holy workers that are true and dependable. They are faithful in life, doctrine and service. Their faithfulness can be seen by the leader. He surrounds himself with them and watches over them; cares and protects them in his ministry. The minister must appreciate those who are faithful and gather them around him for ministry work. The faithful are the pillars of the Christian ministry, and of the church. God's eyes are upon them. They are true and faithful. God seeks such to serve Him. The key verse says, Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with Me. The faithful are the ones to dwell with the leader and serve in positions of authority as the leader's counsellors and bodyguards. They are those who bring the blessings of God to their masters as seen in Joseph in today's text. He did not steal, change things to his honour nor focus on himself. Potiphar noticed the presence of God in him and in all he did and left all his business in Joseph's hands. He saw that Joseph was faithful and not self-seeking. We pray that God will raise up ministers who are not self-seeking. Whose aim is to promote holiness and truth in churches of God. God has brought you to work together with other ministers to achieve His will for this end-time. But the devil is doing all to make you reject the fellowship of Christ`s ministers, resist him and submit yourself to the spirit of unity at work in Christ's church, Ephesians 4:1-2. 1/25/2023
THE REALITY OF HELLEVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) WEDNESDAY JANUARY 25, 2023 TEXT: MARK 9:43-47 Key Verse: Psalm 9:17. “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God”. Various religions and people have various beliefs about hell. Some say God is too good and too merciful to put man in hell. Owing to its frightful credentials, there are those who merely explain away hell as a biblical truth. Hell is a fearsome rest place for transgressors. The Lord Jesus Christ spent considerable time, lending weight to this reality. He told the city of Capernaum for instance, that it would be turned into hell because of its iniquities. There are people and religions that teach that when man dies, he goes to the grave and remains there. Some religions also believe that hell is a temporary place of torment where God puts disobedient children and after a time brings them out but will not leave them there. The question is, 'Does hell really exist? What does the bible say about hell?' The fact that many people have diverse beliefs about reality of hell will not change the truth of God about hell. The devil is the one bringing about these diverse beliefs to cause men to be comfortable in sin and not fear eternal damnation of their souls in hell fire and amend their ways before it is too late. The truth is that hell exists EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) TUESDAY JANUARY 24, 2023 TEXT: 2 CHRONICLES 1:7, 10-12 7. In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee. 10. Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this Thy people, that is so great? 11. And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge My people, over whom I have made thee king: Key Verse: Psalm 101:1 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. ....” All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. David who walked carelessly on his roof top at a time learned a hard lesson for himself. He said, I will now behave myself wisely, in a perfect way. He did not only see a woman`s nakedness in his nonchalance but committed adultery with her. When he recovered himself, he promised firmly that such would never happen again. David set before him wisdom and perfection in his service and commitment to God. This is what every minister of God needs to do because, to lead God's people as a shepherd requires wisdom and perfection. This was the wisdom Solomon requested. EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) MONDAY JANUARY 23,2023 TEXT: GENESIS 40:9-13 9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! 10 Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. 11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. 12 Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? 13 Who hath directed the Spirit of the Lord, or being his counsellor hath taught him? Key Verse: Genesis 40:23 “Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him” Continuation of Sister Eva's testimony: I struggled in the river and finally came out and followed her to a vast land that was very neat. When I got there, I told her that I was confused because I expected to see a place with chairs and tables arranged but the place was so simple. I noticed that she was selling porridge. I became confused because I didn't want porridge. I desired to buy groundnuts; either boiled, fried or roasted varieties. She told me not to worry because my desire shall be satisfied. She asked me the type of groundnut that I wanted, and I told her but as she went to get it for me, I woke up and wondered who she was. Later, I had another dream in which a man was riding a bicycle slowly but the man was focused and looking toward a city. I could see that it was a far city but, the man was moving straight, he was very focus, and he was going. My friend and I were also riding a bicycle at top speed in this dream. I wanted to overtake the man but suddenly, I heard a voice from heaven that said, EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SUNDAY JANUARY 22, 2023 TEXT: GENESIS 40:5-8 5 And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: 7 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. 8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. Key Verse: Psalm 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Continuation of Sister Eva's testimony I dreamt that I was in a big market to buy a particular type of 'tom brown' (roasted corn porridge) but I could not see it even after walking through the whole market. I never got it till I woke up. Some other times too, I had the same dream of being in a big market and I would run all over the market, searching for the 'tom brown' from table to table. I saw women selling other types of tom brown, but I would still go back without getting the type of tom brown I wanted. I could not understand those dreams. Sometimes, I was disturbed but I prayed and left it like that. However, I noticed that something. was lacking in my life. EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SATURDAY JANUARY 21,2023 TEXT: ISAIAH 5: 11-12 11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!12 And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the Lord, neither consider the operation of his hands. Key Verse: 1 Peter 4: 3-4. “3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:” Generally, youths are characterized by wanton lusts, licentiousness, insolence, filthy and immorality. These render youths defenseless in the face of attack by evil spirits. Lust for the pleasures of this world. When you seek the pleasures of this world, you are seeking honor not of God but of yourself and man, thereby leaving the gate of your life wide open for evil spirit infestation. The lust for the pleasures of this world leads youths into various habits such as: Drug addiction; cocaine, heroin, marijuana, smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol or strong drinks, etc. all these evil habits are ways youths are being infested with evil spirit (Proverbs 31:4, Isaiah 5:22). 1/20/2023
EXPLOITS THROUGH FAITHFRIDAY JANUARY 20, 2023 TEXT: 1 KINGS 17:8- 16 8 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, 9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. 11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. 12 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. 13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. 14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth. 15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. 16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah. Key Verse: Matthew 14:28, 29 “And Peter answered Him and said, Lord, if it be Thou, bid me come unto Thee on the water. And He said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus” With unwavering faith in God, every believer can do exploits in life and ministry. We shall consider some exploits by Elijah and Peter. The just shall be supernaturally sustained by faith. Elijah and the widow of Zarephath were sustained by the little flour and the oil of the widow throughout the famine period. Elijah said to that woman, “This is what the Lord is saying, the oil and the flour shall not finish until the time that God sends rain back on the earth.” The woman believed God and she saw the miracle of God. 1/19/2023
GOD IS GREATEVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) THURSDAY JANUARY 19, 2023 TEXT: MATTHEW 8: 5-13 5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, 6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. 7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. 8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. 11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour. Key Verse: Luke 5:4 “Now when He had left speaking, He said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught”. The person that made these promises is too great to be overlooked by you. Heaven and earth have known and recognized Him to be great. Looking at the nature of the person that made the promises, can you distrust Him? It is God that told you that He will do what He said He will do. Because of His Person, believe what He told you. Act on what He says and wait for His promises. The Centurion saw the dignity, personality and the greatness of Jesus. He caught a revelation on the divinity of Jesus. He knew and understood Jesus' authority. 1/18/2023
HOW DOES ONE ARRIVE AT HOLINESS?EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) WEDNESDAY JANUARY 18,2023 TEXT: 1 PETER 1:16 “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” Key Verse: Ephesians 1:4. According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love. The first gospel to the sinner is the gospel of salvation. You go to the sinner and preach the gospel of salvation to him. Preach repentance and faith on the Lord Jesus Christ. After believing on the Lord Jesus, the new convert should be baptized in water. To the child of God, there is still a gospel to be preached to him; the gospel of sanctification. This is about inner cleansing and inner purity. The believer has become a part of the church. Christ loved the church and gave himself for it. The death on the cross has a dual purpose- to bring sinners to salvation and believers to holiness of life. The clothes you wash, you rinse before spreading in the sun. John 17:16-17, They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. Christ was here praying for the sanctification of His disciples. They were already consecrated to God. As the sinner got born again by faith, so a believer ought to be sanctified by faith. According to Acts 26:18, Apostle Paul was sent to open sinners' eyes, and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. 1/17/2023
GOD KEEPS HIS COVENANTEVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) TUESDAY JANUARY 17,2023 TEXT: 2 CHRONICLES 6:14, 15 14 And said, O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their hearts:” 15 “Thou which hast kept with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him; and spakest with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.” Key Verse: Ephesians 3:20 “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Children of God, please, realize this, that in the whole world, there is no God that keeps genuine covenant with his children. As a parent, you may promise your children some things and fulfil the promise, but failed to fulfil others. Our God is not like that. He is a covenant keeping God. He keeps and fulfils His promises with those that are honest and are following Him with the whole of their hearts. What He tells them, He does them no matter the length of the waiting period. 1/16/2023
WHY I HAVE FOUND GRACE IN GOD'S SIGHTEVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) MONDAY JANUARY16, 2023 TEXT: PSALMS 45: 6-7 6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. 7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. Key Verse: 1Thesallonians 2:10 “Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe.” Say this prayer to God as you read on: “Lord, I love your righteousness. Make me hate sin and wickedness. Let me hate to see sin in my life, let me hate to see sin also in the lives of others. Those that love You hate. evil. Lord, I will not allow sin in my life. I desire to get sin out of the lives of others. Divine father, we honour Jesus. God, when Jesus was on earth you saw perfect righteousness in Him; you saw a perfect work against wickedness in His sacrifice. The anointing you gave Him was above all fellow mankind when He was a man with us. That is what you do when you find someone that dedicates himself to You in righteousness and holiness, you exalt such a person, for righteousness honours a man. You anoint him with oil of gladness above his fellows. God, I pledged to be righteous, to serve you in righteousness. I pledged to hate sin! To work against sin. Sin has been atoned for, through Jesus Christ, so that sinners should be saved and purified. O Lord, be with me in my determination to be blameless before You throughout my life on earth. Thank You for answering me, in Jesus' name. Amen. I am sharing with you a personal life testimony to make you know why I have found grace in God's sight”. 1/15/2023
OVERCOMING INFESTATION OF EVIL SPIRITSEVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SUNDAY JANUARY 15, 2023 2 TIMOTHY 3: 1-7 (Refered to your kjv) Key Verse: Romans 8: 9 “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” There are various ways that people are easily infested by evil spirits: Sinful life: This will attract the invasion and control of evil spirits when a youth's life does not please God or promote His purpose. Evil spirit will infest the life of that youth. Youths are most vulnerable to evil spirit's infestation because: they are easily attracted to denominational churches that allow people to come and go the way they are, thereby exposing them to false teachings, which make them comfortable in their crazy and ungodly fashions, ungodly hairdo, barbing styles and use of ornaments Youths are brought into bondage through false teachings. Bad company corrupts good character: Evil spirits carefully study each person from birth to determine how the inescapable consequences of sin can be used to ruin a person. I understand that demons or evil spirits are masters at gradualism. They watch to see which temptations are most effective, which natural traits of character are dominant, which opportunities where entrapment is possible, and they especially watch to see whom each person or youth will choose for friends. One of their best tools for getting young people to make rash decisions is through friendship with bad people. 1/14/2023
JESUS THE SON OF GOD IS GOD HIMSELFEVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SATURDAY JANUARY 14, 2023 TEXT: JOHN 5:19-23 19“Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. 20For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.”21For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. 22For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.” Key Verse: John 19:30 “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, it is finished and he bowed his head and gave up the ghost”. Some stumble at the title of Son of God and ask, “If Jesus is the son of God, does God have a wife? That is human reasoning. God made man in His image. Man is three persons in one; spirit, soul and body. A man can be lying down here while his spirit and soul have gone somewhere. God said, “Let us make man to resemble us.” We have one God but He exists in three separate persons; God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. When Jesus became a human being, the Father was still in heaven but Jesus was on earth, since Jesus was born as a man on the earth, every person that is born as a child is the son of somebody. This woman did not meet with any man, so no mortal man can claim he is the father of this child. He is the son of who? He is the Son of God, as everybody is claiming he is the son of someone, He is the Son of God. Which means; I have my origin with God. I am God; One of the three persons in the God head. 1/13/2023
GOD CAN CURE ALL SICKNESSESEVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) FRIDAY, JANUARY 13, 2023 TEXT: LUKE 8:43-48 43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, 44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. 45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. 47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. 48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace. Key Verse: Acts 3:16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. The term 'incurable sickness' is what men use to describe some sicknesses that have defied all medical solutions. In our reading text, was that not the experience of the woman with the Issue of blood until she met Jesus? What is incurable with men is curable with God. Where men's effort stops, that is where God's miracle begins. Jesus bore all our sicknesses and diseases on His body by the stripes he received and has commanded His ministers to also heal all manner of sicknesses and all manner of diseases. Stop doubting and put your trust in God. Soon and very soon, your deliverance will come if ye have faith; if thou can believe. Believe in the power of God, believe in the finished atonement of Christ, believe in the name of Jesus, believe His ministers of faith. Prayers that received healing from incurable sickness in the Bible range from simple prayer of faith to agonizing prayer of faith. 1/12/2023
BRING SINNERS TO JESUSEVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING
BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) THURSDAY, JANUARY 12, 2023 TEXT: ROMANS 10:11-15 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.”13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” 15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things!” Key Verse: Psalm 96:3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. Passion for souls works heaviness and continual sorrow in the heart of a soul winner for those who are perishing without Christ. So, saints weep and mourn for perishing souls. Can you hear the mourning of a saint in the following scripture? Are you not going to cry for your family that this old Devil has prevailed against? Are you not going to cry for the churches that gather under falsehood? Are you not going to cry and say, “Help O God, the Devil has prevailed!” That old Devil laughs anytime he gets a soul for Hell! Are you not going to cry because the Church is running swiftly into the hand of the Devil the devourer? Are you not going to be concerned? “For these things I weep; my eyes run down with tears!” Be concerned. Let there be heaviness in our hearts. |
