(5) And he said unto them, Depart yet for three days, then come again to me. And the people departed. (6) And king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, that stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, and said, How do ye advise that I may answer this people? (31) And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. (32) And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. (33) But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, (34) And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. (35) And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. KEY VERSE: JOHN 6:9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? Man is created for God's service and to worship Him. He created Eve to serve Adam and Adam to serve Him. In Christ we are recreated for His service. 2 Corinthians 5:17says, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new." In Christ you are a new creature. You need to serve in the new things now. You are here for service; to serve God and man. The call to Christian service is a call to serve God and men. Jesus said, I do the will of my father which is in heaven (John 8: 29), that is service to God. All that thou has given to me I have kept except the son of perdition (John 17: 12). That is service to man. Do that which will give God glory. Anything you will do to God, man and the society do it well. That is the purpose for your existence. The little boy with five loaves and two fishes was there for service; he released those items to serve God and man. The purpose of service is to recover the wounded man. Most of the gospel activities going on in our days are not Christianity. If what is going on in Pentecostal and Orthodox denominations is Christianity, then the Catholic's Hail Mary is Christianity too. This knowledge that Christianity is lost is what gives me focus on evangelism work in churches and the global world. It is the responsibility of every believer to lift Jesus up everywhere as reflected in our key verse today. Jesus is happy that you have resolved to lift Him up so He can draw all men to Himself. Have in mind as a believer that the paramount Person you are bringing the souls to, is Christ and not your denominational church. Many are in denominational churches that are not in Christ. (37) Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; (38) Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. KEY VERSE: HEBREWS 5:4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. God sets standard for His ministry. The harvest is plenteous, but the laborers are few. Only God can add to the laborers. Is there anybody more competent to serve humanity than God Himself? Yet, He does not want you to rush into it just because the harvest is plenteous. He is responsible for the ministers He sends Himself. God told Gideon that his 32,000 soldiers were too much. They should be tried and reduced. At last only 300 were qualified. He calls people into covenant relationship with Himself. Keep your part of the promise and God will keep His part of the covenant. As far as ministry is concerned, God is interested to enter into covenant relationship with His holy ministers. God entered into covenant relationship with Noah for the new world that would be formed. God saw righteousness in him. Noah was just, perfect and walked with God. The old world had collapsed by iniquity; a new world was to be formed after the flood. 3/14/2022

(38) This is the first and great commandment. (39) And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (40) On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. KEY VERSE: JOHN 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. The believers who are sanctified, who have the light of Christ gloriously shining in them, who have finished the work of the cross and have the mark of Jesus Christ upon them, are the people who also manifest love as evidence, their allegiance and fellowship with CHRIST. Love is their language by manifestation. All the law refers to all the writings of Moses, then adding the poetic and prophetic writings of Proverbs and Psalms, and also the writings from Joshua all the way up to Malachi are considered as the writings of love. So Jesus refers to all the law. All that Moses and the prophets wrote about is Love. So then, holiness is to live in love; which is love towards God and love towards one's neighbor.
