TEXT: TITUS 2: 11-15
KEY VERSE: Acts 17:30: “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent”
Is restitution required for sins committed by a child who has reached age of accountability?
As long as the spirit of God gives you a memory of what you did and that it is wrong, you are a soul, the soul does not get older is the body that gets older. It is eternal.
Man became a living soul if you die you go to hell but the soul is alive in hell forever so you do not give age to the soul but to the body.
Assuming a child stole his father's money at the age of twelve and repented when he turned twenty, he would require to do restitution by confessing his sin to his father. What will he say? He will tell the father, “Some years ago, I stole your money, please forgive me. It was at a time of ignorance. Now I will not do it again.”
Whatever you did in your childhood which you now remember to be wrong or which the Holy Spirit brings to your memory, apologize for it and make amends.
If you have been hoping for something and you have the faith and you come out and testify by faith that the Lord has done it, is it wrong?
Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Yes, if you have received assurance by the Holy Spirit you can share the
testimony while you wait for the manifestation. But let your audience understand your confession that it is a testimony of faith awaiting manifestation. You have received assurance in your spirit but they are yet to see it, so that when the
manifestation comes, they will understand.
This provides you the opportunity to give two testimonies so that when it comes you can say, “I told you before; now look at it.” The people will understand your testimony. Otherwise, if you have earlier said that you have gotten it already and later repeat the same testimony, they may be wondering if you got it twice. They may not understand your testimony.
Simply say, “I have gotten it by faith and I am sure it is done;” and when the substance comes you can say again, “See the substance of my faith.”
