TEXT: PSALM 90:12-17
12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
13 Return, O Lord, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.
14 O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
15 Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.
16 Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.
17 And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
Key verse: Psalm 90: 12 “So teach us to number our days, ha we may apply our hears unto wisdom.”
The paper showed details of Pastor Paul Rika’s marriage to his late wife; where they sat and talked in their courtship. It showed how he joined deeper life and details of his life and ministry there and how God planned his life. In this paper, everything that God does or plans in heaven about Pastor Paul Rika’s life will be recorded as follows: ‘I and the Father did so and so…or I and the Father sat down and planned and then we sent an angel to go and do so and so...’ The paper was small, but it contained so much! An arrow in the map showed how Pastor Paul Rika lived his life at every point; the places he visited and the things he did. It showed how he went through the burial service of his late wife and the day he left deeper life.
Everything was indicated by the arrow over the red lines. It showed the places he has visited: villages, towns, cities and countries. Then it came to my part, Pastor Paul Rika and Sister Linda. The map showed how God brought another arrow and it crossed the path of Pastor Paul Rika’s arrow. The name Linda was written on that arrow, and it curved until it joined to his arrow on the day we got married, and how our lives were moving after the wedding. I now said, “Daddy, Daddy, see us!” Everywhere we visited together for ministry since after our marriage was reflected on the map. I said, “Remember we went to these places for ministry.” Pastor Paul Rika was surprised and said, ‘What type of mystery is this? This is my life.”
For places that we have not gone, the colour is faint but for places we have visited the colour is bright. I saw many places on the map that we are yet to visit but the line of the arrow passed through them. Then I said, “Daddy! These are the places we are to go but we have not gone there yet.” I saw that we have to pass through all these places to the end. I now asked him, “Daddy, what does the end here mean?” He said, “This is the end when the Rapture shall take place.” (To be continued).
Thought for the day: God help me. Time has finished!
Song for the day: My lifetime, I will give God my lifetime.
Bible reading for the day: Psalm 105-106; Romans 15:1-21
