1 Timothy 5:25 - Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.
The righteousness of some people are easily recognized and rewarded. One can easily see and say, “This man is righteous in his ways; I know him; I am very convinced of his ways. Everybody is singing it and the Lord is giving consent to it. Even though it happens like that, it is not every person that falls into that category.
There are some righteous people around you that have done great things for God and you may not be aware of all they have sacrificed and done for the Kingdom of God, but God knows. Is He not the One that says, “When you fast anoint yourself; let it not be known to men that you are fasting but let it be known to your Father who sees in secret and will reward you openly?”
When you pray, pray in your closet, don’t make it public as the hypocrites do. You will be rewarded openly by your Father who sees in the secret. You don’t have to do things to impress men or to receive their commendation. Whatever you know is good to do, do it whether men acknowledge your effort or not. God sees in secret and keeps records and He knows how and when to reward you.
Who knew that David was a captain in the wilderness who fought lions and beasts? Neither his parents nor his brothers probably knew. But God knew and kept record of it for future reference. David was not the kind of man that would be announcing his achievements or exploits in the public. But God knew about his righteousness.
When God said gather your children Jesse, I want to pick one of them to become king in Israel, Jesse never thought of his last-born David. That is why Bible says some men’s righteousness are not easily exposed. Therefore, be slow to condemn the righteous man, because you may not have sufficient information about him.
In fact, you must take that case to God in prayer and ask, “God, is this man sincere? Is he true?” And the Father who knows the ways of men will answer you. If you fail to do this and accuse an anointed of God wrongly, you will not be blameless before God.
