TEXT: Isaiah 48:16-17
KEY VERSE: Romans 8:14 - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
The spiritual man is guided by the Holy Spirit in all his ways, thoughts, actions, relationships, and plans; in everything about him. Proverbs 15:28 - The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.
The spiritual man is saying, “Holy Ghost, how do I answer these people? What do I do? Should I go? Should I not go?” He is well guided for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. God seeks such to worship him, not the worldly and carnal people.
You live on your own. The Holy Ghost is not aware. You don’t seek His mind in your relationship with your spouse. You don’t ask God “How do I do it? How do I answer my husband? How do I treat my wife? How do I answer with these attitudes being displayed? How do I go about it?” As a church man, do you ask God? “How do I answer the church? How do I relate with this member?” If you are not asking God, then you are walking in the flesh and not in the Spirit. Galatians 5:16 - This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
You should be walking in the Spirit, not by the desires of your heart. Jesus said something, “Father, of desire, I desire that you remove this cup from Me; but not My will, Thy will be done. I have come according to what the volume of books wrote about Me. Prophecies have gone before that I am coming to suffer for the people; that I will even die. Not My will but, Thy will be done.”
The Lord is looking for people like that. Many people are dead. They are not even alive; not to talk about being spiritual, and yet they profess to be Christians. They worship God in their own way. Let the Spirit of God lead and guide you in all your ways. This is the right way to worship Him. This is how you can rightly say you are a Christian.
