TEXT: 1TIMOTHY 4:9-11
(9) This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.
(10) For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
(11) These things command and teach.
KEY VERSE: 1TIMOTHY 1:19
Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:
A testimony from Brother Mark Agoh of Kuje chapter:
I joined Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide in October 2017. Until the Lord showed me mercy and brought me to HOREMOW, I did not understand the doctrines of sanctification and restitution because they were not taught in our church. In fact, a senior military officer whom I invited to a HOREMOW program confessed that he has never heard such undiluted teachings on sanctification and restitution although he was a respected leader in the denominational church, we both attended.
Through the undiluted teachings of Pastor Paul Rika and several testimonies of brethren as well as clarifications during questions and answer sessions, I realized that to make Heaven I needed to do restitutions. However, I kept on procrastinating because of the fear of repercussions from authorities involved and the shame I felt that doing the restitutions would bring to me. In 2019, the Lord opened my heart on the need to amend my ways and settle past offences in order to make Heaven at last.
I did restitution to an institution I attended over fifty years ago for my Teacher’s Grade II certificate. In 1969, I stole a book titled, ‘Halley’s Bible Handbook’ from the library which I have been reading, studying and using to teach the Word of God. I was serving God in ignorance. As I came to HOREMOW, I understood the standard of God’s holiness and that I needed to return the book. I was worried about it and prayed for grace to do my restitution. In April 2019, I went to the school and confessed to the principal of the school. I handed over the book that I stole fifty years ago to the school. The principal was happy for this action and said he has forgiven me, and that God also has forgiven me. He prayed for me, and I left.
