EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING

TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 1: 3-10
Key Verse: Revelation 3: 11, 'Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.'
God has brought us into a great ministry. He has sought us out and brought us in His own divine way. We have to be careful not to lose the blessings of this great calling. We are here to render acceptable
service for Him, and He will surely reward us for our service. There are those who nearly lost out, such as Jonah, Onesimus, the Levites at the time of Moses. These nearly missed the divine call and instruction, but were restored by the mercies of God, so that they could redeem themselves from destruction. Many people reject God due to carnal wisdom, impatience, emotional feelings, pressure of men etc. Though they are called by God, they failed, and begin to act like those who were not called, yet they ran. The grace of God recovered, Onesimus, and Jonah to the place of acceptable service, as well as the Levites who served under Aaron, yet they could not have taken the priesthood which was given to Aaron; but they could render acceptable service. Onesimus became profitable again.
HOREMOW is a great ministry where we are called to work with the Lord. It is a privilege to work for Him here. Yet, some are uninterested. Their faces are dull because of the things they hear; lies and schemes of darkness to turn us away from the truth and from a great ministry. Be careful of removing yourself, or allowing yourself to be removed. Hold fast that no man, take your crown. Be careful of losing a great minister. God searches for a man to stand in the gap. It's not an easy job to find one who is righteous and holy. Many are still supporting leaders who are no longer approved of God. How long wilt thou mourn over Saul, seeing that I have rejected him? In every generation God has an approved servant to uphold righteousness. He has chosen a man after His own heart. Moses was the meekest man on the earth yet they spoke against him. Don't speak against the chosen man of God; support him. Be careful so that you don't lose a great privilege. Those who neglect this privilege will regret greatly.
