1 SAMUEL 13: 8-15
“Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer” Romans 12: 12.
You remember that the Philistines were gathered against Saul and Samuel had not yet arrived to make the sacrifice.
According to Saul, Samuel delayed in coming and he went into the house of the Lord to do the sacrifice, an act that only the priest could perform by God's law.
Saul's impatience so displeased God that it brought a curse upon him.
That is how the children of God end up in life when they abandon their trust in God to follow after demons to seek for help when they think God is delaying.
Samuel came and the Philistines had not yet attacked Israel.
Don't you know that the God that will help you is the same God that will withstand your enemies and hold them to a standstill until He has finished helping you?
God is the One standing between you and your enemies. If He has not come, He is doing something important against your enemies so that you will not be overcome or taken unawares until He comes.
When God has not yet performed it for you, He will send His peace that passes all understanding to keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
You will be perfectly peaceful, although it has not yet been done. The time of faith has not yet come for materialization.
Patience is unavoidably required in your exercise of faith, for without it, your faith cannot be complete.
The Bible admonishes us to be followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promise.
Don't lose your confidence in God. Be patient and keep on believing God and His promises in Christ, until the answer comes.
Thought For The Day: Your trial of faith is designed to move you to the next level.
Song For The Day:
There shall be showers of blessings....
