EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY PASTOR PAUL RIKA (Int. Director Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide) DATE: FRIDAY, JULY 17, 2020 TEXT: 2 John 10-11 Key verse: 1 Kings 20:42 And he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Because thou hast let go out of thy hand a man whom I appointed to utter destruction, therefore thy life shall go for his life, and thy people for his people. To protect the holiness of your life with respect to the sin or offence of other people, be sure you have your facts before you take sides and ensure you stand on the side of truth. There are some sins people commit that cannot be hidden. The moment they commit it, it is revealed. People around them know about it. These are not secret sinners. Their wickedness is plain for all to see. Do not join them in their sinful works; otherwise, you will suffer with them the divine judgment that is determined upon them. You know clearly that this man is a thief or you know clearly that this girl is a liar, and you choose to stand by them. Why are you doing that? Don’t you know the friend of a thief is a thief? As for those lawyers and policemen or judges in the court, it takes bribery to do that and that is already corruption. They will share in the judgment for obstructing the course of justice. They have perverted justice to make a sinner go unpunished, thus preventing his eyes to open to the consequences of sin. For the love of money, they defend the guilty against the righteous. They pervert the way of justice and tell lies. Don’t join them. Don’t tell lies to cover a sinner. You will not be blameless before God. In today’s key verse, the Lord was telling king Ahab, “I appointed a man to judgment; to death, and you spared him? It will be your life for his life. Your people shall go for his people because I have determined to judge him.” Brother, Sister, are you protecting sinners? Are you shielding sinners from facing judgment which would have made them come to their senses? Don’t do that when that man’s sin is so clear to you. The wickedness of that man was noticeably clear. You want to be merciful? Would you show mercy without repentance? That is a corrupt and evil mercy you are pouring on people that are not ready to repent. Some churches are evil and ungodly, and their lifestyle and doctrines are opposed to the scriptures which is clearly known to people around them, including you. Don’t join them in their membership else you will partake in their final doom. Thought for the day: Do not allow another man’s sin to pitch you against God. Song for the day: Speak Lord and my heart will obey, the words that you speak……. Bible reading for the day: Psalm 22-24; Acts 20:1-16

Brethern let us pray that we will not be unequally yoked with unbelievers so that we may not partake of their sins. In Jesus name, Amen.
