Psalm 40:3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
(Continued from yesterday)
Going back home, I knew God was the final solution. I equipped myself for battle in scriptures and prayers. I got advice to always play good gospel music in my son's room especially at night. I prayed and prayed for hours every night in his room while he slept.
I prayed, I sang, I cried. I was always reminding God of His promises. I thank God Almighty because He did not fail us. The Lord is indeed faithful to His word as He set Elnathan free from the spirit of autism. Just weeks into the prayer we noticed he started sleeping peacefully at night and was no more screaming.
We also noticed that he started doing unimaginable things like spelling the names of all the children in his class to the extent that the teachers had to ask us if we were teaching him spelling at home because he was doing the same thing at school. Before then, all we used to get from his teachers were negative reports, but the story changed as positive and unbelievable reports started coming up.
The teachers were also amazed at the sudden changes. I thank God for answers to prayer. Each passing day I see the hands of God in his life. I see God still answering my prayer and still adding his blessings. Elnathan is shining in every area; exhibiting great intelligence and doing great things.
Now, he is able to communicate well and understand well. Whenever I go for teachers'/parents' meeting in his school, the teacher will tell me she has nothing negative to say because he is doing well in school. He likes to research and acquire knowledge. He is a nice and God-fearing boy. He is now six years old.
I just bless God for answering our prayer and even prayers of the brethren in HOREMOW Birmingham UK Unit because they prayed constantly for him. God bless you all! Let's continue to pray for our children. I thank God for this opportunity to continue to testify for His glory in Jesus Name! Alleluia!
