EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) THURSDAY MAY 11,2023 TEXT: EPHESIANS 6:10-18 10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Key Verse: Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. There are things you need to do to be strong in the Lord. In life, people are told to take some vitamin drugs, food supplements and tea, saying, “They will help you! They will give you strength! This will take care of any sickness! They will boost your immunity!” And because you want to be strong and healthy, you go for these things. What do you go for in Christ to be strong in the Lord? What spiritual vitamins do you have for your spiritual life? Make effort to acquire Christian materials; books, magazines, tapes, bibles and commentaries. have prayer. Get prayer sessions in tapes. Arrange a powerful prayer session from sessions you know you have listened to in tapes; cut and join the prayer sessions together to form an hour or more of prayers. Any time you are weak, play it and struggle there to wake up; crying, shouting and binding. 5/10/2023
TAKE HEED LEST THOU FALLEVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) WEDNESDAY MAY 10,2023 TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 10:1-5 1Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;2And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;3And did all eat the same spiritual meat;4And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.5But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. Key Verse: 1 Corinthians 10: 11-12. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come; Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. Our desire is that you will be in heaven and I trust, that is also what you desire. What I am sharing with you will keep you steadfast on your way until you enter heaven. Many times, parents warn their children as they play and jump about, “Be careful, else you will fall.” This also refers for us, who are children of God. In our text Paul wrote to warn the Corinthians and of course all Christians that we should know that the Jews all left Egypt on their way to the Promised Land. They all passed through the red sea and all ate of manna that fell from heaven; they all drank of the rock smitten, which rock was Christ Himself. So, they had all the privileges any Christian today would claim to have. Many of them could not reach the Promised Land but were overthrown. They fell in the wilderness. 5/9/2023
PASSION FOR PERSONAL PURITYEVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) TUESDAY MAY 9,2023 TEXT: MATTHEW 5:6-8 6Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.7Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.8Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Key Verse: Psalms 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Hunger and thirst! Remember the word passion, it stands for a force inside you; a strong desire inside you looking for a state of purity and a heart of Holiness. Let us see that passion, let us see that force, let us see you running, let us see you panting, let us see you weeping, let us see you doing all you can, let us see you crying and longing, for you shall be filled. God will fill you and give you purity. He who sees your struggle will satisfy you and you shall be filled. 5/8/2023
THE PURITY IN CHRISTEVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) MONDAY MAY 8,2023 TEXT: HEBREWS 7:25-27 25Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.26For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;27Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. Key Verse: 1 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in Him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. The scriptures describe Jesus when He came as human being like us. What was His quality? What was His attribute? How did He live? What was His live? The Bible says He is Holy. Jesus as a human being came to His own and lived among us; He was holy, pure and undefiled. No dirty thing was in Him – in life, in language, in actions; in everything, nothing dirty was found in Him. He was undefiled; he was harmless, not hunting people about, not rude, not proud and nothing in Him will make Him harm people. That is how Jesus was. He was separate from sinners. He did not live like sinners. He did not share life with sinners. He did not live in sin with sinners. He lived separate life, not like a drunkard, fornicator or one who lust after women or men, a thief, or a liar. He was totally separate from sin; pure and holy. That was His life. God want to take us to this point of pure, holy, undefiled, and separate from sin and sinners. He wants to carry you to that point. He wants to bring you to that standard. EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SUNDAY MAY 7, 2023 TEXT: GENESIS 6:5-9 5And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.6And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.7And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.9These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. Key Verse: Matthew 24:37 “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the son of man be.” God looked upon human beings and saw that every man was sinful and wicked, every man was thinking evil, planning evil, working out evil, every imagination of the thought of man was evil continually. Satan took over all the religious gathering. What is seen in Psalms 14 is a repetition of the days of Noah. We are seeing in our time too that some things are bringing the world to this state. Psalm 14:1-3
EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SATURDAY MAY 6,2023 TEXT: GALATIANS 1:6-9 6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Key Verse: Songs of Solomon 2:15 Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes. Christian faith is very tender any false doctrines coming in can damage it. The Christian faith is very tender that is why you must be careful what you hear the enemy can damage it and Satan uses various means to damage it. These people were preached to by Paul the correct gospel of Christ was delivered unto them but foxes came in, false teachers came in with false doctrines affected their lives, Paul called that bewitchment who has bewitched you, so by this working of the devil in the church of Christ even by the activities of witchcraft the believers got affected the faith of many got twisted little things were introduce to the Christian faith and destroyed it because the Christian faith is tender and if you believe any other thing apart from what is true and begin to practice falsity what a damage to your life, is very damaging the drugs we take have their prescriptions, because if you wrongly take the drugs it has his own effect in your body and there is those who sell fake drugs and that there is those who expose dangerous drugs without guidance and many are affected by them so there are people in Christianity that preach heresies perpetrate false gospel and this has brought damage to the body of Christ because of the effect of false doctrines, Paul has to say this, EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) FRIDAY MAY 5, 2023 TEXT: EPHESIANS 5: 25-27 25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Key Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5: 22 “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.” As Jesus prayed, He said, “Thine they were, and You have given them to Me. They have become mine.” He said this before he died showing that those, He was praying for to be sanctified, were already believers. This was because the sacrifice for believers' sanctification was included in the redemptive plan of the Cross. The cross is first a sacrifice for sinners' salvation, then a sacrifice for believers' sanctification. EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) THURSDAY MAY 4, 2023 TEXT: HEBREWS 9:27And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Key Verse: Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Always say, “I am a worker or leader today if it pleases You, but if otherwise, you want another person, I submit.” That is holiness. That makes God to have His way. The football coach can replace anyone on the team because he wants them to score and win. What if they all say, “Don't touch me?” They will fail to achieve their goal and may lose the game. All they are looking for is how to win. If they notice that you are tired or not following the game plan, you may be withdrawn, and another person takes over. We want to win and when we win, we will all rejoice together. 5/3/2023
THE MANDATE OF A MINISTEREVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) WEDNESDAY MAY 3, 2023 TEXT: ACTS 26:15-18 15. And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And He said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. 16. But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; 17. Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 18. To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Me. KEY VERSE: ACTS 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Me Today's key verse is a guide to what you are to persuade the people about. The LORD is saying, Go and open their eyes because their eyes are closed. They are in darkness that they cannot see with their eyes. They don't see and they don't know. What a spiritual darkness. This is terrible spiritual darkness. For one to be blind and never know that he is blind! Is a serious problem. God says they need the opening of their eyes. It means understanding must come in. They do the things they do because of their lack of understanding. My people perish for lack of knowledge. EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) TUESDAY MAY 2, 2023 TEXT: 1 PETER 5: 1-6 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: 2Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 3Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.4And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.5Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Key Verse: Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (I). Faith: Faith says God calls you and will reward you. Do not allow any situation to distract you. (II). Faithfulness: Do it according to pattern; according to Divine specification. (III). Humility: Be humble so you can perform service unto God. If you see yourself as highly placed, you may be directing works to younger ministers under you to do while some of these works may be for you. Where other people are assigned responsibilities and you are left out, God must have chosen somebody at that time to do it, so be humble and listen. (IV) Holiness: Cloth yourself with the garment of holiness as a believer. EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) MONDAY APRIL 1, 2023 TEXT: LUKE 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. Key Verse: Psalm 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The word of God is the revelation of God's mind and nature to mankind. God's word is food for our souls by which we must live. Man shall feed upon every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Man shall live, be nourished and fed by every word of God. The word of God is perfect; therefore, man should feed upon perfection and man should live on perfection according to the word of God. The word is sure. Man should live by the word that is sure, sincere, real, and certain. Again, it is right. The word of God that is right is what man should feed upon. The word is pure so man shall live by the purity of the word. As you feed on purity so you should live in purity of the word. The word is clean; man should feed on and live by the clean word. Again, the word is true and righteous altogether. Man needs this word that is true. This word that is righteous altogether should be the word that man lives by. |
