1 Timothy 2:3-4 

KEY VERSE:
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

Concerning God, the Father; Jesus Christ, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Christianity does not hold a uniform view for there are divergent opinions which are summarized below:

a) There are those who claim that Jesus is the same person with the Father and the Holy Spirit. In this wise, they are seeing one God and one Person, not three Persons. This is false.

b) There are those who claim that the Father is the Creator of Jesus because He sent Jesus to the world. They accept that Jesus is higher than the angels but was created by God the Father. This is also false.

c) There are those who claim that the Holy Spirit is not a personality but a force and that being the force of God, He is not a living Being. This concept is heresy.

d) The correct view of the trinity of the Godhead is that The Father is different from Jesus, The Son, is also different from The Holy Spirit and that these three Persons are one divine Being. This is the scriptural position.

It is God's desire that we should come to the knowledge of His truth. Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: The Holy Spirit is doing great things at this end time to get believers ready for the rapture.

For our perfection, it is essential to know who God is, to worship Him well, to understand Him well, and to serve Him well. God would have all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. This means there are people who are saved but don't know the whole truth of Scripture necessary to perfect their lives and prepare them for heaven.

God wants you to know the WHOLE TRUTH so that Satan does not take undue advantage of you. He will endeavor to deprive you of eternal life if you are ignorant of the whole truth of the word of God. Seek and know the WHOLE truth of God!
