SUNDAY AUGUST 4, 2019.
John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
You have life through the word; you have power though the word; you have existence through the word; you have continuity through the word; you have preservation through the word; you have all things through the word of God!
As God gave man desirable food to feed on for his life and strength on earth, so has He also given the word to the new man in Christ for his spiritual life and strength and for continued existence.
The devil told Jesus, “If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread,” but Jesus answered saying, “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”(Matthew 4: 3-4).
Does God still speak? Yes! Apart from the written word of God, He still speaks audibly. Bible says man should live by “every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Some people would say they don't want revelation even when God takes people to heaven and hell to reveal the truth of eternity for the salvation of their soul.
God makes appearances to people, they reject that also. God speaks in diverse manners and in diverse ways but they don't want to hear of it. The scripture says if God has spoken in anyway and you are able to verify that God spoke, then that message is vital for your living.
Every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God is vital for your living. We have the written word, the spoken word and the revealed word. The Lord speaks in dreams and visions, the Lord communicates in experiences, the Lord speaks in His written word, the Lord also speaks audibly in spoken words.
In whichever way that it is proven that is was God that spoke, you need it. That is why this devotional is unique as it contains revelations which are also the word of God. These devotionals contains every category of the word of God relevant for the edification of man and they have been a great blessing to readers. Amen..
