DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR, Of Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide TEXT: 2 Kings 4:22-26 "22 And she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again. 23 And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? it is neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well. 24 Then she saddled an ass, and said to her servant, Drive, and go forward; slack not thy riding for me, except I bid thee. 25 So she went and came unto the man of God to mount Carmel. And it came to pass, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite: 26 Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well." KEY VERSE: 2 Kings 4:26
"Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well." Our Father in heaven has set before us a beautiful year and He is saying that it shall be well with you in the new year. In this new year you are entering into, it shall be wonderful; it shall go on well with you. Thank you Lord Jesus. I am passing this information to you my brethren and I want your spirit to receive it that it shall be well with you as you go forth into the New Year. I speak to your spirit as God has directed me, that for you it shall be well; it shall be well; it shall be well! Thank You Heavenly Father. May Your word confirm this in our hearts; may the Holy Ghost confirm this in our hearts in Jesus Name we pray. Thank You so much Lord for your great promises and assurances. It is as if God gave us an assignment and we have carried it out successfully and He has come to reward us. It is as if we wrote an exam and passed it well and the Lord is coming to celebrate our success. I am announcing to you that you will celebrate in this New Year we are entering into. What have we done that the Lord is so happy with us for? Why is God so excited with us and He is saying “I will open My store house for you?” This is a wonderful New Year gift from our Lord Jesus Christ. In today’s devotional text, we see the wonderful testimony of a woman in distress. The Lord is asking me to tell you that when you are asked in this new year about your general well-being, you should answer according to this manner too that, “It is well with me.” I want you to look back, look within and look forward and say to yourself and to your hearers, “it shall be well.” Look to the past years, look into your heart now, then look ahead to the new year and declare: “it shall be well.” Hallelujah! Thought for the day: As you go into the new year, it shall be well with you. Amen! Song for the day: It is well … In the name of Jesus, it is well with my soul today Bible reading for the day: Genesis 1-2; Matthew 1 Leave a Reply. |
