EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY PASTOR PAUL RIKA (Int. Director Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide) DATE: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2020 TEXT: Acts 25:4-5 KEY VERSE: Acts 26:1 - Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Thou art permitted to speak for thyself. Then Paul stretched forth the hand, and answered for himself: As much as possible, one should listen to both sides for good judgment and understanding.
Acts 25:14-16 And when they had been there many days, Festus declared Paul's cause unto the king, saying, There is a certain man left in bonds by Felix: 15 About whom, when I was at Jerusalem, the chief priests and the elders of the Jews informed me, desiring to have judgment against him. 16 To whom I answered, It is not the manner of the Romans to deliver any man to die, before that he which is accused have the accusers face to face, and have license to answer for himself concerning the crime laid against him. In this text, Festus was saying “The Jews brought this man to me and said he has done evil against their law and as far as their law was concerned, this man deserves to die. But I told them it is not according to the Roman law to have a man condemned unless he has been given opportunity to defend himself. Let his accusers speak and let the man also speak.” But because of selfishness, we condemn people on religious, family, denominational and other basis which make you to be guilty before God and your righteousness is taken away. Satan has cheated many people in this way. Let him not cheat you in Jesus name. The scripture gives credence to some people to be believed because of their godliness and clean history. Such people are believed because of their godliness, because of their clean history and the plain facts they have spoken. 2 Timothy 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them. Paul could write this way because he knew that what he told Timothy, taught Timothy, narrated to Timothy were the perfect truth. Timothy, you know my life, my purpose, my fear of sin, my holiness, and my labor to enter heaven. Hold on to the things that I have told you. Believe the doctrines that I have explained to you and continue in them. Such credit can be given to some categories of people whose life is beyond reproach. Thought for the day: An accused is innocent until proven guilty. Song for the day: Rock of ages, cleft for me Bible reading for the day: Proverbs 17-18; 2 Corinthians 2.

Amen, I pray that we should be fair, listening to both sides before making judgments, in Jesus name, Amen.
