Revelation 2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
Even if you don't have money, you have something so great and precious that the Lord has given to you. Hold fast to it till the Lord comes. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Jesus is coming very quickly. There is no time to waste. Make the best use of the time. The apostles of Jesus were twelve.
The crown of one was taken because he did not hold fast his position. God has given you a ministry, beware so that you don't lose it. He has called you to a special service that pleases Him and puts smile on His face, be careful that you don't lose it. He has brought you to a place of His service. Beware so that you don't lose it. Understand that you are not greater than those that laboured in ministry and still fell. Some have laboured for decades yet nothing came out of their ministry.
That God brought you to a great ministry is a wonderful privilege. God made the choice and placed you in the place where to serve. He expects quality service, acceptable service, worthy service, REWARDABLE SERVICE. He brought you to a ministry that you know clearly there is life and truth in it and He said, serve me here. You are aware of this. Be careful that you don't lose such a great ministry.
Jonah 1:1-3 Now the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the son of
Amittai, saying, Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.
This is a call of God for specific assignment, but Jonah lost this great ministry as the Bible records in Jonah 1:3 But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. Don't abandon your ministry like Jonah.
Thought for the day:
Persevere to preserve your ministry.
Song for the day:
Brethren, the road is very narrow, very narrow, very narrow (2x) we must strive...
Bible reading for the day:
Psalm 79-81; Romans 8:1-18
