(18) And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.
(19) Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
KEY VERSE: LEVITICUS 19:31
Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.
Restitution in human relationship is the practice of the law of conscience whereby the offenders correct his ways by confessing and seeking forgiveness from those he has offended and restoring their stolen things. Do your restitution in the area of ministry and in cases of Spiritism, witchcraft and occultism.
You started the ministry in righteousness but you later became corrupt and fraudulent as a pastor and embezzled the money of the church. You borrowed money from your members and refused to pay back. You frustrated the marriage cases of people. You committed adultery with some of the women in the church in your ministerial life. You have done terribly. It could be in the church you were before and now you are in another church. Note that the Lord is witness to what you have done in your former church, and even in the secret.
Do you practice witchcraft? Do you go to herbalist to collect charm for protection? Or use ring for working miracles? You may say, “but I do not go out in my body in witchcraft.” You have the property of satan in your possession. From the Key Verse, God said, do not seek after wizards or take things from satan for protection. It is spiritual defilement.
And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds. Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
Like Simon the sorcerer you may have been bewitching your congregation. There are some things you buried at the door or at the altar of your church. They are defilement to you. Now that you profess you have come to Jesus, go and dig out all those things and confess them.
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Confess all your evil and the fake miracles and throw away all the properties of satan. Cleanse yourself from every property of the devil, beloved.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: He that cover his sin shall not prosper.
SONG FOR THE DAY: I have decided to follow Jesus.
BIBLE READING FOR THE DAY: 1 Chronicles 1-2; John 7:32-53
