 EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) MONDAY SEPTEMBER 30, 2024 Text: 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. Key Verse: For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from f o r n i c a t i o n: 1Thessalonian 4:3 This scripture talks about those who are born again already; ministers of the gospel and servants of Christ that have acknowledged Jesus as Lord and Savior. They are already in the mission field. They are leaders over churches. They are already people that are zealous for Jesus. They profess Jesus. I am talking about wives that are born again, that are telling their husbands, I am in Christ. I am talking about husbands that are born again, that are telling their wives, I am in Christ. I want you to defend that statement. The Lord will do another thing in your life so that you would defend the profession of Christianity that you are bearing before men. You will adorn the gospel of Jesus before the world. And this is by an experience called sanctification. 9/29/2024
Support God’s Work with Your Substance EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 29, 2024 Text: Exodus 35:20-29 20 And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses. 21 And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the Lord's offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments. 22 And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the Lord. 23 And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers' skins, brought them. 24 Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the Lord's offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it. 25 And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen. 26 And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats' hair. 27 And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate; 28 And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense. 29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses. Key Verse: Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet. Acts 4:37 Through the generosity of Christlike givers in the early church, the church got established and has flourished to Acts 4:37 this day. God did not drop money, foodstuff and other material provisions for the sustenance of the apostles and early believers from the sky. He used men and women who were willing and good-hearted to supply the needs of the people of God. That helped to prolong the revival and mature the church which was then in its infancy. Similarly, through the ready support of Christlike givers in this end time, we shall witness greater conversion of souls to Christ and righteousness and holiness shall return to the church. May the Lord raise you to support and maintain this end-time revival that is preparing the church for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. Key Verse: Who art thou, O great mountai n? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain, and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. Zachariah 4:7 Shake yourself out of the dust. All these clothes that have become brown need to be properly shaken to clean off the dust. Shake them very well to recover the whiteness of your cloth. Get them washed in the blood of Jesus. Get yourself washed in the blood of Jesus and recover. We have others to bring to Christ, but not in your filthiness. The Lord said you are my battle axe, and you say you are no longer functioning. I say you will recover and rise again. Since the Devil knocked you down, you have been lying there. Now is the time to get up and take a position in battle. Do not lie down in defeat anymore.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 27, 2024 Text: 1 Peter 3:1-6 1Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; 2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. 3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: 6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. Key Verse: For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: 1Peter 3:5 There was total submission and subjection to the authority and the headship of the man even in the 1 Peter 3:5 matter of clothing and adornment. They do it in such a way to be in subjection unto their own husbands; 1 peter 3:6: Even as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, if ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. This again is a statement the women should investigate. It shows that the woman is subject to the man, she is under the man, as well as under the leadership of the man. In fact, here we are told that Sarah is our mother because we are believers, and she is the mother of all believers. So even she herself called her husband lord to show she was submissive to him. It is very wrong for a woman to behave like she is the head of the family or even in the churches of Christ.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 26, 2024 Text: Jeremiah 2:1-3 1Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying,2 Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the Lord; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown. 3 Israel was holiness unto the Lord, and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the Lord. Key Verse: Israel was holiness unto the Lord, and the first fruits of his increase. All that devour him shall offend, evil shall come upon them, saith the Lord. Jeremiah 2:3 The LORD is saying, He remembers when you began a relationship with Him. He saw your love and your commitment. Sin never came close to you because you were committed and zealous for GOD. The house of the Lord was a joy to you. You were paying your tithe faithfully. The church was cared for by you. I remember that. And I defended and cared for you. I pursued your enemy. But then what happened? I remember how you started this Holiness Revival Movement. Ah! Then we thought Jesus was coming in that year or the following year or the next year or by this time. We were so ready. Who will sin? Nobody. Everybody consecrated himself. Wives never minded the persecutions of husbands. Husbands never minded the persecution of wives. Children never minded the persecution of the parents. Life was Good. Our confidence in God. Yes, you surrendered everything. You gave as much as you could. You wished all your past were in a movement like this. You would have spent more because you had spent your money on old wine before the new wine came.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 25, 2024 Text: Psalm 107:41-43 41 Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock. 42 The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth. 43 Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the Lord. Key Verse: “Be Thou exalted O God above the heavens, and Thy glory be above all the earth.” Psalm 108:5 When Obed saw that he was an Indian-hemp smoker, he didn't give him attention initially. The Indian-hemp man passed him but turned back and still requested to know where Obed was coming from and where he was going at that late hour. He then narrated what had just happened to him. He took interest in him and began to help. He promised to take him to a lodge where he would spend the night. He carried Obed's heavy bag on his head while talking with him as they embarked on a very long trek in search of a place for him to lodge. They passed through dangerous places that night with this strange helper carrying the heavy luggage on his head. Obed said that at a point, the helper stopped talking because of the weight of the load.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 24, 2024 Text: Psalm 107:26-29 26 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble. 27 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's end. 28 Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. 29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Key Verse: “Hold not Thy peace, O God of my praise” Psalm 109:1 My name is Pastor Nathaniel Eje. I thank God for His timely intervention to rescue our son, Obed from the hands of a ritualist. On Saturday, 23/12/23, Obed journeyed from his school in Minna to Enugu on his way to Abakaliki but he arrived Enugu late in the night. I arranged with the Enugu state overseer for our son to spend the night there, so he told him to take a bus from the park to the Enugu fellowship center. An evil man had parked a bus waiting for a victim. Obed entered that bus, thinking it was a commercial bus. I called him and he told me he was the only one going with the driver in the bus. We suspected evil and when I called again after a few minutes he didn't pick his call again. I kept calling until his line was switched off. 9/23/2024
Give God Your Heart EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) MONDAY SEPTEMBER 23, 2024 Text: Jeremiah 17:9-10 9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10 I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. Key Verse: My son give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways. Proverbs 23:26 From the text, the Lord says, the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Who can know it? Not even you. No human being. Even these people that can induce information from you cannot know the full state of the heart. Who would have told you that you can do that? Who would have told you that that circumstance will just weaken you? Who would have told you that that man's voice will take away all energy from your life? You, after you have said, I will not do this again. Who would have told you that this man will just come before you and all your strength is gone? You follow him like a sheep going for the slaughter, to commit sin. 9/22/2024
Avoid Unholy Prayer Mannerism EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 22, 2024 Text: Matthew 6:5-8 5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. Key Verse: “Let all things be done decently and in order”. 1 Corinthians 14:40 The church is made up of mature believers, young believers, unbelieving members and newcomers. Seek to edify others in your prayers. Prayer mannerism in the worship service should be decent not to abuse the art of prayer. Strange screams, wild movement, clapping of hands and other unwholesome prayer manners should be avoided. Some have given blows to their neighbors through wild stretching of hands. The screams, clapping of hands and strange body movement of some draw attention to themselves and cause many to give up praying to watch them. Indecent kneeling and prostration by the females in a mixed congregation can stir up lust among the males. The pure and fervent prayer in the church or prayer meetings should not be quenched through unwholesome prayer mannerism. 9/21/2024
The Fruits of A True And Holy Minister EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 21, 2024 Text: Matthew 7: 15- 20 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Key Verse: Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruits, but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruits Matthew 7: 17 God desires to upgrade your spiritual life and ministry for your eternal life and rewards and answers to your prayers and impart divine virtues and power into your life. Every tree bears fruit after its kind, after its nature. As the popular saying goes, 'Like father, like son; like mother, like daughter." A true and holy minister will bring forth true and holy members. It is a law. Although there may be few exceptions because of the children of perdition as was the case with the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ, who brought forth disciples after His kind that were true and holy but one of them was the son of perdition.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 20, 2024 Text: Romans 8:5-8. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Key Verse: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.Romans 8:14 We dress holy to show that we live by the Spirit and not in the flesh. My brother, if you dress like a Christian, it means you have complied with the word of God. It means you have no trouble with the teachings that are issued out. It means you are not struggling between the works of the Spirit and the works of the flesh. It means the Spirit of God has taken over you. The Spirit of God is dictating to you. You are living by the Spirit and not in the flesh. Nothing will offend you. The commandments of God on dressing are not grievous to you. You don't see anything wrong in dressing smart, holy and godly. As a minister, you are living by the Spirit. That's why even your body is responding to what the Holy Spirit is telling you to do. What about those that live in the flesh? Of course, they must dress like the world dresses. So, if you are living in the Spirit and by the Spirit as a minister, as a godly pastor; you won't have problems with godly adornment. You will dress to show people that, yes; you are led by the Spirit of God. 9/19/2024
The Store House in The New Testament EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 19, 2024 Text: Malachi 3: 8-10 8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Key Verse: Will a man rob God? Malachi 3: 8(a) Tithe to God is a Divine injunction that is binding on all children of God. It had been a human practice Malachi 3: 8(a) before the Law of Moses and did not cease with abolition of the Law. Many who encountered the Lord Jesus Christ today by Divine Revelation repeated the issue of tithing, according to the message they received from the Lord. You have read the accounts of few of them which were presented earlier. The question is: “Where is the Store House in this gospel dispensation?” The same passage presents the answer that the Store House is the House of God. The next question is: “Where is the House of God?” Let the Scriptures answer the question. The following scriptures reveal where the House of God is; It is a place where two or three are gathered in the Name of the Lord for His worship. Because the Lord hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. 15 And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. 16 For the Lord, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the Lord of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously. Key Verse: for the LORD, the God of Israel, said that He hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit that ye deal not treacherously.Malachi 2:16 The Lord was there when you promised to marry that woman. He listened to you. Remember He is the one that made marriage. Anytime a relationship of marriage is kindled, it attracts His attention. He says, I am a witness that you married that woman and went ahead to fulfil marital obligations to her. How much more that you even wedded at the church? Now that you have married, do not deal treacherously to oppress that woman. Do not put her away. God hates divorce. Do not bring up a story, 'Eh, I caught her in adultery. Where were you? Were you ever there for her? Are you really serving her well? Have you not been tempted into adultery? How many times has God forgiven you? Can you not forgive that woman? Therefore, do not deal treacherously with her. Key Verse: Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. Psalms 19:14 Yes, people tell lies, serving God with defiled tongue, serving God with defiled heart. In the book of James 3:10- 12, the bible says, 10 “Out of the same mouth proceeded blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. 11Doth a fountain sent forth at the same place sweet water and bitters? 12Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? a vine, figs? So can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.” God is talking to you who are the ministers of God. What happened to you? That this same mouth, the Lord is saying you should change people for Him, is still proving that you are not changed yourself? 9/16/2024
There Is No Division in Christ Jesus EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) MONDAY SEPTEMPBER 16, 2024 Text: Ephesians 4:4-6 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Key Verse: “Howbeit in vain do t hey worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men" Mark 7:7. Christianity presents itself in our present world as a segmented religion. It is segmented by the diverse beliefs and doctrines held to by each group or denomination. It appears to be as though each denomination has its own Bible, its own Jesus and Its own heaven, different from the others. Yet, we have one God, one Jesus, one heaven, and one standard for all men in the world - the Bible. Hence, many Christians and Christian denominations are not on the narrow way to heaven, but on the broad way to hell fire. Reason it by yourself. Could all these Christian churches and their denominations, with their varied doctrines and practices, be serving the same God, following the same Jesus, controlled by the same Holy Spirit and obeying the same Bible? 9/15/2024
Beware of Spiritual Blindness EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 15, 2024 Text: 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Key Verse: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 2 Corinthians 4:4 Deception leads to spiritual blindness. They have told you lies, now you are seeing things according to the lies they have told you. If you cover an electric bulb with red cloth, it will turn red. You have wrong thoughts because of that which you have heard and what they have put in your heart. Deception makes you not to see the verses the preacher quotes and the illustration he gives. You do not understand them. You are spiritually blind because of what they have told you about Jesus, any time you think about Jesus, or they are saying something about Jesus, or you read something about Jesus, your mind is different because you are spiritually blind.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 14, 2024 Text: Acts 3:6-9 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. 7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God: Key Verse: “And all the people saw him walking and praising God.” Acts 3:9 I came for the International Women Conference, 2024 as a volunteer worker in the bookshop. My mind was not on receiving healing, but I was happy to hear Mummy Linda share a revelation that the Lord has come with packages of blessings. I never knew that my own was included. I was busy in the bookshop but during messages and prayers, we would stop selling and participate fully. The Lord healed me after about four years of walking with clutches. I did not realize it immediately but gradually, I began to move around without my clutches, unknown to me. Key Verse: Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Romans 13:1 I f you are truly born again. The word of God must guide, lead, direct and discipline you for a change, submission, subjection and godliness. The pastors have a job to do for God and these messages must be practiced in our Nations, Zones, States, Chapters and Units. As born-again people ready for heaven we must look at the bible to make sure that everything written must be implemented in God church according to the foundation and standard of His word. We should depend on the Bible to live our life after being born again, we should accept guidance of the Bible to live a holy life, women should accept submission, for it is key to the women ministry. The women ministry is a branch as the other ministries in the Church, like the Youth ministry, Children ministry and Campus ministry. These are arms in the Church ministry. They are all subject and submissive to the authority of the Church. Proverbs 2:6 I f I say ministry, some people think it's only Pastors who stand in the pulpit and preach. They exempt themselves because they are ignorant that everyone performing one function or the other for the Lord or in the house of God needs the wisdom of God to render satisfactory service unto God. Whatever your service, be it ushering, chorister or security, you are performing service unto the Lord and need God's wisdom. The media workers and children's teachers also require God's wisdom, knowledge and understanding to excel. God inspired me to take this spiritual assignment seriously through the testimony of the International Director, Pastor Paul Rika, in his first message for the year 2022 concerning the record of his prayers and bible studies at a particular period. I was challenged that if despite his busy schedule, he kept record of his spiritual activities, then, I had no acceptable excuse before God to fail to do likewise; so, I decided to keep record of all my divine assignments with effect from January 2022. Bible reading: I read the Bible three times, from Genesis to revelation in a year without commentary.
