 EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SATURDAY AUGUST 31, 2024 Text: Malachi 2:1-9 1And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. 2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. 3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it. 4 And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the Lord of hosts. 5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name. 6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. 7 For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts. 8 But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the Lord of hosts. 9 Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law. Key Verse: “For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.” Malachi 2:7 As a leader in HOREMOW, you abandon the people of Christ and become full of yourself. Are you not fortunate that the Lord counted you in the number? Why are you relaxed and thoughtless about yourself? The priest is a messenger of the LORD. The LORD says, if you offend a man, another man will intercede between you and that man but is it this God of life that you are destroying His work and blocking people from going to heaven? You block them from receiving the right food since you have no time for them. If God gets you at your neck, you will not escape. 8/30/2024
A Message To Leaders In HOREMOW (1) EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) FRIDAY AUGUST 30, 2024 Text: 1samuel 2:22-25 22 Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 23 And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil dealings by all this people. 24 Nay, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: ye make the Lord's people to transgress. 25 If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against the Lord, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the Lord would slay them. Key Verse: And he said unto them. Why do ye such things? For I hear of your evil dealings by all this people. 1 Samuel 2:23 Jesus said, these demons have gone to holiness churches and have pulled them down and are making their way to Holiness Movement. We will stop them. We will fight and resist them in Jesus name. Corruption in the church. Things that are happening now, it has been happening around the church. We are watching now. What about our church? Holiness Revival Movement. It is a church. Because where two or three people are gathered together, I am there in their midst. Is that a church? It does not require Sunday worship to be a church. A people meeting together in the name of the Lord. A people gathered together for the name of the Lord. A people raised up to serve the Lord. It's a church. Now, I'm saying these things are moving to us too.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) THURSDAY AUGUST 29, 2024 Text: 1 Peter 3:1-6 1Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; 2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. 3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: 6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. Key Verse: “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him an help meet for him”. Genesis 2:18 The scripture and revelation of God from creation till date depict clearly that God created the woman to assist the man. God saw that the man was lonely after he was created, and God said it is not good for the man to be alone and decided to make for him a help meet. Scriptural guides for success of women in marriage: The holy women of old-time pattern: The scripture says for after this manner in the old time, the holy women also who trusted in God adorned themselves being in subjection unto their own husbands. Even in adornment, women were in subjection to their husbands. There was sobriety. The women who dress in seductive dresses in the society today have deviated from the old patterns. 8/28/2024
Commitment To Bible Study EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) WEDNESDAY AUGUST 29, 2024 Text: Joshua 1:8 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Key Verse: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 The spiritual food we feed on is the word of God. How much of God's word do you have. Jesus Christ defeated Satan with the word of God. “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4).” Spirituality of a man depends on how much of word of the God that is in his life. Moreover, to live above sin and be an overcomer in this wicked and adulterous generation, total obedience to God and His word is the answer. If you want to know God's will, promises and live a holy and righteous life, which is the key that opens the gate of heaven, the knowledge and appropriation of the word of God is imperative in your life. As a reminder, the Lord gives us spiritual assignments on Bible reading yearly as members while leaders are to read the bible with commentaries. How far have you gone? As a leader, do you place emphasis on it? Do you remind your members to ensure they read the bible on their own. The word of God in you will help you to be an overcomer in every situation and be a terror to the devil. A child of God should be different. I took my daughter to a school where females wear skirts but due to compromise, people sew the skirts as they want. I noticed that their skirts were at knee level. I went to the authorities and told them that I want my girl's skirt to go down and they accepted in order to admit my daughter. When they brought the skirt, it was not long enough. I went back to the school and asked them if that was the best they could give me? They say, yes, this is what we can do. I paid for another material to add to this one.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) MONDAY AUGUST 26, 2024 Text: Malachi: 1: 13-14 13 Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the Lord of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the Lord. 14 But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the Lord of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen. Key Verse: “But he said, yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God and keep it.” Luke 11:28 You must pay tithe to respect the priesthood of Jesus. What are the perverse doctrines and the indecent teachings that you receive outside there that make you hold on to your tithe? Do you know that some pastors keep their tithes and use it for themselves? The Bible says bring all the tithes to the House of the Lord, that there should be meat in My House. You are not the House of the Lord. You are a servant of God. Let God decide on what to do, Pastor. One of the pastors came to me when I came to the state and said; Pastor, I've heard you just spoke on this. I'm so sorry. I've been using my tithe. I said 'wow' is that what you have been doing? It's wrong, you can't do that. And you say you are a leader? For he that rejected this is rejected and is cursed. Malachi 3:9-10  SUNDAY AUGUST 25, 2024 Text: Genesis 24:50-58 50 Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said, “The thing comes from the Lord; we cannot speak to you either bad or good. 51 Here is Rebekah before you; take her and go, and let her be your master’s son’s wife, as the Lord has spoken.” 52 And it came to pass, when Abraham’s servant heard their words, that he worshiped the Lord, bowing himself to the earth. 53 Then the servant brought out jewelry of silver, jewelry of gold, and clothing, and gave them to Rebekah. He also gave precious things to her brother and to her mother. 54 And he and the men who were with him ate and drank and stayed all night. Then they arose in the morning, and he said, “Send me away to my master.” 55 But her brother and her mother said, “Let the young woman stay with us a few days, at least ten; after that she may go.” 56 And he said to them, “Do not [a]hinder me, since the Lord has prospered my way; send me away so that I may go to my master.” 57 So they said, “We will call the young woman and ask her personally.” 58 Then they called Rebekah and said to her, “Will you go with this man?” And she said, “I will go.” Key Verse: Behold, Rebekah is before thee, take her, and go, and let her be thy master`s son`s wife, as the LORD hath spoken. Genesis 24:51 When a sister or a brother has known the will of God in marriage, medical test is required under the supervision of the Marriage Committee, before the brother is allowed to see the sister or the sister to see the brother as the case may be. After this, the brother and the sister need to be introduced to each other`s parents for their consent. Where there is resistance especially, from the parents of the woman, both must take it to God in prayer and wait for the way to be cleared. There must also be careful enquiry as to the marital history of each one in the courtship to ensure that he or she is not lawfully married before that time. 8/24/2024
Deception Of The Heart. EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SATURDAY AUGUST 24, 2024 Text: Jeremiah 17:9-10 9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10 I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. Key Verse: The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9 From the text, the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Who can know it? You have a heart but your heart can deceive you. Your heart can tell you all is well, when actually all is not well. Your heart can be excusing you, saying I am not involved. Before I came here, I already examined myself, I already settled myself, so nothing is happening to me. I am not part of what they are saying. It is a deceit. That is what the heart can do. As a result, instead of paying attention and speaking like the psalmist, 'Examine me O Lord and know my ways and see if there is any wicked thing in me.' You will now say, 'God you know I have settled with you so I don't have any problem.' Instead of saying, “That which I know not, teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do it no more.” No, your heart deceives you and says, 'Which iniquity?' Deception of the heart. 8/23/2024
Learn To Control Your Tongue EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) THURSDAY AUGUST 23, 2024 Text: James 1:26; 3:2 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 3: 2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. Key Verse: Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips. Psalms 141:3 Defilement of the tongue can come from multitude of ways. Talking, and talking, and talking. You want to jest, you want to joke, you want to say everything, dominating the conversation. The Bible says that, in a multitude of words there lacketh no sin. Even a fool, if he holdeth his tongue, shall be esteemed a man of wisdom. Hold yourself. Do not be forward in speaking. Do not speak overmuch. If you find an environment, even answering questions in the church, nobody is talking. You talk one, nobody is talking, you talk two and nobody is talking, you control yourself. Learn to speak a few words. It gives dignity to your personality. Control your mouth. The spirit of the prophet is subject to the prophet. With all the healing Jesus did, there was still a crippled man at the beautiful gate. That one will be for another time. Key Verse: And He said unto them, how is it that ye sought Me? Wist ye not that I must go about My Father's business? : Luke 2:49 Thursday August God has only one business and the registered name is: Soul Winning. The only reason Jesus left His glory and came to earth is to give Himself as ransom for mankind. He began to publish this from the beginning of His ministry to the very last minute. He also called men and women and taught them how to preach. He left the task of preaching the gospel to us and He is looking up to us to do it. It is called, 'The Great Commission.' We cannot witness effectively without the power of God. The passion of our Lord Jesus Christ for lost humanity is written all over the New Testament. He has handed over this business of saving souls to us and we have to handle it with the same passion. That is the only thing that is keeping the angel from blowing the trumpet. He said that this gospel of the kingdom would have to be preached all over the world and we are the people to do it.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) WEDNESDAY AUGUST 21, 2024 Text: 2 Timothy 2:1-5 1Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. 5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. Key Verse: “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:16 When I was dipped into the water and brought out, the Holy Spirit came mightily on me. My heart was transformed to that of a baby and became very tender and peaceful. I then joined HOREMOW. I started attending chapter meetings and as I began to read the Bible and attend unit fellowship my spiritual life was built up. A call was made for zonal evangelists but I did not respond. The next day, I went to the place I wanted to learn tailoring but the Spirit of God began to deal with me. A voice spoke to me saying, “Did I save you for you to go and learn work or to serve Me and preach My word? Why did you not volunteer to be a zonal evangelist? Call your leader now and tell him you want to join them.” I obeyed and was added to those for the training.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) TUESDAY AUGUST 20, 2024 Text: Psalms 93:1-5 1The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. 2 Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting. 3 The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. 4 The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea. 5 Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O Lord, for ever. Key Verse: “Thy testimonies are very sure; holiness becometh Thine house, O LORD, forever.” Psalms 93:5 I n 2021, I came back to Madalla to continue my treatment. A brother that had preached to me earlier before my accident came back and resumed the preaching. He reminded me of what he had told me earlier and of my response at that time. Actually, in the course of his preaching, he had told me not to pursue a career in professional football because football was a sin and I had disdained him, saying that no one in this world could stop me from football except God. He encouraged me to surrender my life to Jesus Christ and asked if I knew Sister Linda.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) MONDAY AUGUST 19, 2024 Text: 1 Corinthians 14:33-35 33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. Key Verse: Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. 1 Peter 3:6 As they are organized to evangelize, the act of evangelism and follow up among the women in the church and outreach around the church areas require the pastor's presence. The pastor is in charge of the entire state. So, he will guide. Luke 2:51, "And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them..." Jesus is the Son of God. He didn't cease to become God when He was on earth. He knew, He created Joseph and Mary. He was aware. But as He was developing here on earth, He subjected Himself to them. He obeyed them. They guided Him. In fact, He was a carpenter. There's a place in the scripture where He was addressed, is not this the carpenter? The son of Joseph? It means that He learned the art of carpentry from Joseph. He was subjected.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SUNDAY AUGUST 18, 2024 Text: Genesis 6:1-6. 1And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. 5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. Key Verse: And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. Genesis 6:6 The church disappointed God. The people of God from ages past, have been disappointing God. They have not been bothering about God with all the goodness of God in their lives, with all the provisions of God in their lives, with all the defense of God in their lives. What happened to these people? Yeah. What is the reason? With all God is doing in your family, He made you marry, gave you a job, delivered you from accident. But what happened that you don't bother? Your mind is not with Him. What is the reason? Why is your brother or sister not bothered? Why is your pastor not bothered about this God? Why? Why? He just calls God by name but not walking in His ways.  EVERY WORD OF GOD FOR DAILY LIVING BY: PASTOR PAUL RIKA, INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW) SATURDAY AUGUST 17, 2024 Text: 1 Corinthians 2:1-10 1And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. Key Verse: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. Hebrews 11:1 I t is God's wisdom that man depends on Him at all time. Man left His first glory by sin and so, it's not possible to use his depraved mind and think out straightness or attain perfection. Hence, we that deal with the gospel of Christ are not dealing with human wisdom. Because it will not work. We deal with faith in the wisdom of God. In Apostle Paul's words to the Corinthians, it was not with excellency of speech the testimony of God was declared to them. So, here, you may not get it logical according to your sins. We declare that which is written and say what God has said. Don't look for logic or mental correctness. Otherwise, you will not attain to the blessing that follows it. The people of this world, because they want reasoning, will say I want to understand, they are not ready to take it by faith. Key Verse: But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever, Amen. 2 Peter 3:18 The Divine or spiritual assignment started many years ago, and since its commencement our lives have never been the same. Key Verse: Neither shalt thou go up by steps into mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon. Exodus 20:26 We dress to cover our nakedness. In Exodus Chapter 20, after the Ten Commandments have been given, what followed afterwards was the command on dressing. Do not let your nakedness be discovered. You are a pastor or a minister in Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide; whether at home or anywhere, where there are other people, apart from your wife, is your nakedness seen? Is it discovered? This you have to ask yourself. Let not your nakedness be seen in your dressing, even in your own house, if you are not alone with your wife. Your nakedness should not be seen. 8/14/2024

Key Verse: I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Psalms 32:8. The text gives us an account of Jacob and the promise to give a tenth of all he possessed to God on successful and prosperous return from Haran. The question is where did he pay his tithes? It is not stated, but it was according to pattern laid down by Abraham and according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The belief that tithes must be given to the church where one regularly worships God is a tradition and not a commandment of specification of the New Testament. As reasonably as this tradition seems, the believer must not be controlled by it, but by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit should lead the believer to where to give the tithe of the Lord, according to His Will. 8/13/2024

Key Verse: Who So Findeth a wife f indeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD. Proverbs 18:22 A believer who wants to marry will seek God in prayer. God speaks in a simple language that the hearer will understand but the problem of many people is how to know that God is speaking to them. They desire to come to the point that they know without difficulty that the Lord has spoken or is speaking to them. The relationship the believer has with God is as the one a child has with his parents. A new born babe may not discern the voice of the mother but it will not take long before he will become acquainted with the voice of the mother who regularly speaks with him. Key Verse: For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows 1 Timothy 6:10 Pastor Emmanuel Bwacha told this story: “I have this Muslim friend who one day told me that he wants me and him to set up a church. I said, 'What do you mean by that?' He said, 'They are making money from there.' You know, it is what they see around other people. Some pastors will go to them and not talk about their salvation; they will be talking about money. How will you that do not know Jesus Christ say, 'Let us partner and establish a church?' I mean, it is very ridiculous. It is just to tell us the level of decay in the church.” Anybody that can speak English will just print a billboard with his wife and keep on the road and put a signboard with an arrow pointing to the place. It is all about money. It is an investment. And with time, it grows. See the evil that money does to ministers. Some of these ministers were actually called but they turned away from truth and started looking at the benefits associated with the ministry and gradually fell off. |
